• Angkor Wat - Angkor Wat is the largest and most renowned Khmer temple, constructed in the 12th century, between 1113 and 1150, during the reign of Suryavarman II. Rising 65 meters tall, the temple is encircled by a vast moat known as Ko Tek. Both the exterior and interior walls are adorned with stunning bas-reliefs.
• Bayon Temple - PRASAT BAYON or ANGKOR THOM is a Buddhist-style temple built in the late 12th to early 13th century by Jayavarman VII. Bayon features 54 towers symbolizing the 54 provinces before and during the Khmer empire. Over 200 smiling faces are intricately carved on these towers. Bayon was once a flourishing capital but was unfortunately damaged in 1811 by Cham invaders.
• Ta Prohm Temple - PRASAT TA PROHM, constructed in the late 12th century by Jayavarman VII, was dedicated in 1186 to his mother. Initially, this temple had a Buddhist foundation but was later converted to Hinduism, leading to the destruction of some Buddhist galleries and their replacement with Hindu symbols like Yoni and Lingam. It is located 1.5 km from Bayon through the Victory Gate. Ta Prohm is renowned for the trees, known as “Spung,” that grow robustly on and over the sandstone block walls.
• Banteay Srei - This is the most exquisite pink sandstone temple with intricate carvings. Located 35 kilometers from the grand tour site, Banteay Srei is also referred to as the “Lady Temple” due to its delicate carvings. Visitors can stop midway to observe locals producing natural sugar products from the sugar palm, offering a unique experience.
• Banteay Samre - Banteay Samré is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, situated 400 meters east of the East Baray. Built during the reign of Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century, it is a Hindu temple designed in the Angkor Wat style.
• Chau Say Tevoda - Chau Say Tevoda is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, located just east of Angkor Thom, directly south of Thommanon across the Victory Way. Constructed in the mid-12th century, it is a Hindu temple from the Angkor Wat period, dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu, featuring unique female sculptures of devatas.
