  Before visiting the 1000 Lingas, a visit to the Elephant Pond-Srah Damrei is planned. This site features large animal monoliths, including an elephant, lion, and bull, carved into the rock with nearby basins, believed to date back to the 8th-9th century.
• Phnom Kulen Waterfall - Kulen Mountain, meaning “Lychee Mountain,” is located about 60km north of Angkor Wat and is one of Cambodia’s most sacred sites. The Siem Reap River, vital to the Angkor Empire, originates here, and visitors can still see ancient fertility symbols carved into the riverbed. Holy men study here, and ascetic hermits reside in ancient pagodas. Kulen is where the Devaraja cult began, deifying Khmer rulers. Pilgrimages continue to this day, with visitors enjoying swimming in the pristine waters, observing carvings, and watching butterflies in the lush jungle. The mountain is also home to the Reclining Buddha monument, a massive statue carved from the mountain top in the 16th century. During the Indochina War, bombs fell around the Buddha, yet it remained unscathed. It is now a favored picnic spot for Khmer people.
