- Kbal Spean - Begin the day with a visit to Kbal Spean, known as the original River of a Thousand Lingams. This site features a beautifully carved riverbed nestled in the foothills of the Cambodian jungle. Lingams, which are sacred phallic symbols in Brahmanism representing fertility, are intricately carved into the rock, along with depictions of gods and animals near a small waterfall.
- Banteay Srei - On the return journey, stop at Banteay Srei Temple, also known as the ‘Women’s Citadel’. Situated 32 km from Siem Reap town, it was the last major Khmer temple in Cambodia to be rediscovered. Originally named Tribhuvanamahesvara, the modern name Banteay Srei translates to “citadel of the women” or “citadel of beauty”. This is attributed to its petite scale, the pink hue of the limestone, and the exquisite carvings of devatas (minor female deities) adorning its walls. At 12:30 pm, take a break for lunch, with recommendations provided by your knowledgeable and friendly guide.
- Banteay Samre - Next, proceed to Banteay Samre Temple, constructed in the mid-12th century by King Suryavarman II (reigned 1113-1150) and dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. At 3:00 pm, the tour concludes, and the guide and driver will return you to your hotel.

Exploring this hidden treasure located in the forest evokes an unparalleled sense of enchantment. The journey to this site requires trekking, much to the delight of nature and wildlife enthusiasts. Post our mealtime, we proceed to Banteay Srei, a cornerstone of Angkor. The distinguishing feature of this temple is its construction material - red sandstone blocks. Our final destination is Banteay Samre, a relic from the 12th century bearing an uncanny resemblance to Angkor Wat.
