Although the picturesque landscape of the floating community may lose some of its charm during this time, visitors have a chance to immerse themselves in the daily life of the villagers living in the dried season. While some boats may become stuck, and smaller canoes are unable to traverse the jungle forest, these challenges add to the thrill of the experience. The dry season in floating village of Kompong Phluk may not be the ideal time to visit for those seeking postcard-perfect photos, but it offers a chance to witness a facet of the village’s daily life that is not typically seen. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. We recommend visitors to embrace this rare chance to witness a different facet of this incredible destination and truly get a different taste of life in the village.

Great day Kulen Mountain, floating village and floating village - Incredible sites, great guide Kim ＆ driver Satire. Wonderful time the whole day, lunch was nice as well. Commentary really gave feel of local life

A beautiful trip - What a great mix of things in one day! It's a long day but it is TOTALLY worth it.
The waterfalls were like a tropical paradise, the lunch was excellent (and great for two vegetarians and one with a gluten allergy).
Our guide Makara was genuinely excellent. Very knowledgeable and caring, always making sure our experience was as good as it could be. If you get him as your guide, you're going to have a good day.

Recharge in Kulen Mountain - One hour from Siem Reap, you can discover, in the middle of the forest, on the heights of this province, beautiful refreshing waterfalls and a place to swim and have a picnic. As a Khmer photographer, I often go here to recharge my batteries.

Great Cambodian Tour - The tour was very good. Makara was informative with good knowledge. Food was nice too, especially enjoyed the chili tamarind chutney.

Nice change of nature culture and history. - Fine guidance from Ramen and the driver. Fresh cold water and various snacks on the way at every stop. Nice program. A little too short in the floating village, but otherwise great. Beautiful cpmbination of nature, culture and a little history. Ramen tells a lot. Very interesting to learn merr from Cambodia. We enjoyed it!

Great tour, great guide! - Recommend 100%! This tour covered so many interesting and must-see areas around Siem Reap. The transportation was comfortable and the driver was safe and responsible. Our guide, Seila, was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, professional and accomodating. I appreciate all he did to keep us comfortable and informed. Lunch was simple and enjoyable; our group had our own private table under a canopy overlooking the waterfall. A very full, very fun day!

Amazing, must-do experience with fantastic guide - We had an amazing day with Mr Makara our excellent guide and our brilliant driver Mr Taa. Mr Makara was absolutely fantastic - he shared with us so much knowledge and looked after us from the start of the day until the end. We were picked up from our hotel and we headed towards Kulen Mountain to see the River of the
1000 Lingas, Sleeping Buddha and the waterfall which was beautiful. We had a lovely picnic lunch overlooking the waterfall which was so special. We then headed to Tonle Sap lake and the floating village which was an incredible experience and one I can't recommend enough
- seeing the houses and the mangroves and the sunset was something we'll never forget. Mr Makara made the experience for us - we felt so safe and looked after and he took some brilliant photos of us too - nothing was too much trouble! Thank you and we highly recommend doing this whilst in Cambodia

Instagrammable - If you like taking lots of memorable snaps with incredible background, this is your tour. Our guide, Mr. Sam and the driver, Mr. Leap, timed each of our photo shoot pitstops just ahead of other groups so we’d have at least 5 mins to take our own photos first. Mr. Sam earnestly shared the religious origins of Kulen Mountain and amazing natural phenomena of Tonle Sap. We thoroughly enjoyed the two sites. Mr Leap was attentive to ensure we were well hydrated on a hot day. Not to mention the side stop at the palm sugar factory - fascinating!

1 day trip to waterfall, mountain, river, temple and village - The trip to the mountain, waterfall, the river, temple and the floating village was great! It was a lot to see in one day but we didn’t feel rushed. Our guide, Kim, explained everything to us along the way. The lunch served by the waterfall was very good and there were some fresh fruits, too! Recommended!
