Fantastic!!! - My wife and I have a fabulous time visiting for a few hours - what a great experience!!! It’s an enterprise to help employ women which is fab. Who knew that you could make beautiful silk thread/yarn from the stem of a lotus plant!!! After a really great guided tour of the site, we did 3 activities; yarn making with the stem, bracelet making with dried lotus seeds and lotus mache paper making followed by a boat tour through the lotus plantation which was beautiful too. The staff were so incredibly sweet and patient helping us to make everything; also included was lotus tea & lotus balls. The boat woman made an absolutely stunning folded lotus flower bouquet for us to take away. Please tip these beautiful people at your discretion. The additional boat tour involved a 15-min transfer to the lake so you can really see how rural people live - and it was a fascinating experience. There’s a free pick up and drop off service from the centre of SR too. This really is a number one must do activity in SR
