Sopheara is practically perfect in every way. - Three of us from California on our first trip and wanted everything to be perfect for our 5 days in Siem Reap. We needed a friendly, English-speaking local with deep knowledge and love of their culture who could take us to the best places and take the best pictures for us while avoiding crowds and yet scheduling meals for us at gorgeous restaurants and private blessings with monks at out of the way monasteries to give us profound insight on religious customs. Not too much to ask for, right? Sopheara succeeded in surpassing all of our expectations and left us completely in awe. If you want to see parts of Cambodia in ways that will impact you a many levels and satisfy your intrepid travel goals - find Sopheara. This is the real experience you are seeking.

Splendid, Siem Reap tour - Pilu and his team were outstanding in helping my sister and me arrange a truly memorable experience in Siem Reap. They connected us with an excellent, seasoned guide, Sam, for three full days of touring—and we couldn’t have asked for better.
Sam brought real depth to each site, with a strong command of archaeology, ancient history, and the stories that bring Cambodia’s past to life. Just as importantly, he was wonderfully attentive to our pace. When we were feeling a bit “templed out,” he seamlessly adjusted the itinerary—streamlining stops and tailoring the narrative so we stayed engaged rather than overwhelmed.
Our driver was equally fantastic, always ready with cold water and refreshing towels, which were especially appreciated after long days in the heat.
Beyond the tours, we also discovered exceptional food and relaxing massages throughout Siem Reap, rounding out the experience perfectly. This trip to Cambodia was truly a highlight of our broader Asian journey, and we highly recommend Pilu and his team to anyone looking for a thoughtful, well-run, and enriching visit.

Great Angkor Wat Tour - My family & I did the 3 day tour with the guide Sopheara and the driver Mr. Long. Overall, it was a great experience - we saw a wide variety of temples - both famous ones like Angkor Wat and the complex at Angkor Thom plus lesser visited temples such as Pre Rup and Banteay Srei - plus Tonle Sap and the floating village. Sopheara did a great job of bringing the temple ruins to life with religious and historical context, and had a sharp eye for scenic viewpoints and fun pictures. The days were well-paced and each had enough variety to keep us engaged. By the end of the tour I felt well-equipped to identify common Khmer iconography at our final temples. I thought the experience was reasonably priced for a private tour and the quality of the driving + touring.

An amazing tour. - We had a great 2 day tour of the Angkor temples with Tay. He knew perfectly how to manage the day and the route to maximize the photo opportunities and minimize the crowds. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to communicate in an understandable and relatable manner. It was quite warm and humid during our visit, we asked Tay to fix that but unfortunately he couldn’t control the weather. But we did have a great air conditioned car with lots of cold water and snacks. What a great relief.
You come to Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat. You are cheating yourselves if you don’t learn something about it and see the other temples. So do not hesitate for a second to sign up for this tour.

The Best - We had a great 2 days with Tay! He knew perfectly how to manage each temple visit and manipulate our route so that we had the best views and the least people. He was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to him talk about the temples. He is obviously very passionate about his country. You can’t really avoid the heat when walking around the temples, so it was great to come back to an air conditioned vehicle and cold water and snacks.
You come to Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat, but you are cheating yourselves if you don’t learn something about it and the many other temples.

Best private tour of Siem Reap temples with teenagers! - Fabulous 2-day tour of Siem Reap temples and floating villages thanks to the best duo we had - Mr Long and Sopheara. Tailored for our needs (accounting for wet season, weather, teenage boys), we lived 2 most magical days with Sop the best guide we could have hoped for - sharing his extensive knowledge of the area and all the temples, taking us behind the scenes Indiana Jones style, managing everything so we could beat the crowds, getting the best pics with no one else on it and at the best angles. All up an easy 10/10 even for my 2 teenagers (15 and 12) who thoroughly enjoyed it. Couldn’t recommend this tour more - and thank you again Sop for the great memories we now have.

Angkor Wat- in comfort and ease! - Tai was an excellent host who showed us an ancient empire - the setting is incredible - Beautiful ancient stone temples in the jungle. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also knows how to avoid the crowds and the short cuts. Long the driver was great too! Aucoon Bong ! Amazing expérience thanks to wonderful guide. - We had a wonderful experience with our Guide Sopheera. We started with more remote temples on day one and then did the small loop in Angkor Wat on the second day. What you will see in Cambodia is unique and having a guide plan your experience around your needs and using their expertise is key. The guide took us to the best places, gave interesting explanations and adapted the trip to a family with kids. I personally wouldn’t visit these stunning temples any other way as it is also an opportunity to learn!

The best tour we could imagine - We booked a 3-day tour with affinity Angkor. They are very professional and flexible. Our tour guide Kim was so good, you could really see he loves his job. He knows so much about the region and the temples. The kids adored him, nothing was to much for him. We also had a very nice driver, he provided us cold water and cold towels when we returned to the car. We would highly recommend booking a tour with Affinity Angkor and Kim!
