• Angkor Wat - Constructed during the reign of Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, Angkor Wat was dedicated to Brahmanism, particularly to Vishnu, the God of protection. It symbolizes Meru Mountain, which was revered by the god-kings.
• Banteay Kdei - Banteay Kdei is a temple built under King Jayavarman VII in 1181. It is recognized as the first Buddhist monastery among the temples.
• Ta Prohm Temple - Ta Prohm Temple, where “Ta” means ancestor or grandfather, is a renowned temple constructed by Khmer King Jayavarman VII in 1186, dedicated to his royal mother, Prajnaparamita.
• Ta Nei Temple - Located in Angkor National Park, Ta Nei Temple was built by Khmer King Jayavarman VII in dedication to Buddha.
• The Victory Gate - The Victory Gate of Angkor Thom, situated on the eastern side and north of the Dead Gate, is a remarkable and unique ancient structure with significant historical and symbolic importance in Cambodia’s Siem Reap region.
• Preah Palilay - Enter and exit the temple from the east, walking approximately 300 meters from the main road. It was constructed in the mid-12th century for the Buddhist religion and features a seated giant Buddha from the 15th century.
• Baphuon Temple - Located in Angkor Thom, northwest of Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple was built in the 11th century. It is a three-tiered temple mountain constructed as the state temple of Udayadityavarman II, dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva.
• Bayon Temple - Built in the late 12th or early 13th century as the official state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII, Bayon Temple is distinguished by its numerous serene and massive stone faces on many towers.
• Phnom Bakheng - Phnom Bakheng is an ideal spot for watching sunsets. Built over two centuries before Angkor Wat, it was once the main temple in the Angkor region. It served as the central architectural feature of a new capital called Yasodharapura, established by Yasovarman when he relocated the court from the old capital, Hariharalaya, in the southeast Roluos area.
