- The visit to the local home was the outstanding feature of this excellent food tour. Our guide, Sivhong, is one of the best guides we have had in our extended travels over the last 15 years.

Buy local and be delighted - Buy local!! Allow Heng to enable you to delight in trying and experiencing local Khmer cuisine and culture. This tour will introduce you to sights and experiences you will likely otherwise miss. My family of four with two late aged teens loved this tour and we have already booked our Lost plate tour at our next destination (Phnom Penh )

Amazing food experience! - My mom and I loved every moment of this tour. We have done multiple Lost Plate tours before in China and it was hard to imagine a tour that would top those, but this one did! Heng was a fantastic guide who was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made sure we were well taken care of despite heavy rain altering our itinerary slightly around sunset. The food was amazing, and the ability to have a family dinner in a stilt house is a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend this tour, with Heng, especially!

Great food tour - This is probably the best food tour I’ve been on and I’ve done many. Tuk tuk driver picked us up, gave us a moist towel and a beer and off we went to meet the rest. The tour guides were lovely, informative and helpful. Great variety of places we ate at and there was a great trip out to the rice paddy fields, as well as a home visit. Finished up at a very cool bar with a great cocktail. 13/10 experience!

Amazing experience! - We took the sunset food tour on our second day in Cambodia. What an experience! Our tour guide Heng was so friendly and personable, her knowledge of the food and history of the spots we went to was outstanding. She also gave us so much information about the culture and history of Cambodia and we left the tour with a much deeper understanding of Cambodia for the remainder of our trip. Thankyou so much Heng for an oustanding night! The Tour itself was very unique heading out to a countryside villahe to have dinner at a locals house was an incredible experience we're we learnt the day to day life in his village. Food was fantastic all in all a great tour! Highly recomend the tour and Heng!

Best local food tour! - Heng was amazing! We had a great time learning about the food but also learnt so much about the country and city. The best part was our dinner at the local home, it felt like coming home for dinner with family. Heng made us feel comfortable and we had a great night experiencing the culture. Best food tour in town

Authentic Khmer food experience not to be missed. - We were picked up by our guide, Heng and our first stop was to sample two different types of noodles in a locally-owned business, Both delicious. We then travelled out of town, with a short stop along the way to experience rice paddies, accompanied by two very friendly little girls, to a small village. Here we were welcomed into his home by Mr Wat, who explained village life, showed us around his home and offered us three home-cooked dishes, very different from anything we had experienced up to now. Our next stop was at a locally-owned restaurant that has been operating since the 1980's, specialising in grilled beef skewers, that were delicious. Our final stop was for dessert at a street stall selling freshly made roti. We chose the banana and chocolate option. It was a treat watching the lady prepare the roti from a ball of dough into a delicious buttery snack. Heng was a very informative and attentive guide, giving us many insights into Cambodian life, customs and cuisine along the way, while our tuktuk driver kept us supplied with cold beverages and towelettes. I would highly recommend this tour if you are interested in sampling authentic local food, rather than the generic Southeast Asian food you get in the tourist areas. You will also learn a lot about local culture in the process
