- Kampong Phluk Floating Village - Day 1: Guests will be picked up at 8:30 am from their hotel lobby and driven approximately 45 minutes out of Siem Reap city. They will then enjoy a 1.5-hour round-trip cruise to visit Kampong Phluk floating village, the second largest in Siem Reap. This village is home to 3,707 people, 911 families, and 850 houses built on 8-meter stilts.
- War Museum Cambodia - The tour continues with a visit to the War Museum, which showcases military vehicles and weapons used during the prolonged and intense civil war. The tour guide will share personal experiences from this period.
- Wat Thmey (Killing Fields) - The next stop is Wat Thmey Pagoda, which houses the killing fields of Siem Reap. Visitors can learn about the Khmer Rouge regime under Pol Pot. The tour guide will share personal stories and experiences from the war and genocide period.
- Angkor Wat - Day 2: Guests will be picked up early at 5 am to travel to Angkor Wat and witness the sunrise over the magnificent temple. Afterward, they will explore Angkor Wat, with explanations of its history and architecture provided.
- Ta Prohm - Following Angkor Wat, the tour proceeds to Ta Prohm temple. Guests can pause for a restroom break and breakfast before visiting. Built in the Bayon style in the late 12th and early 13th centuries, Ta Prohm was originally a Buddhist monastery and university. Its unique feature is the jungle growth through the temple, making it a popular site, especially as a filming location for the Tomb Raider movie starring Angelina Jolie.
- Banteay Kdei - The tour then moves to Prasat Banteay Kdei, meaning “A Citadel of Chambers” in English. This Buddhist temple, constructed in the late 12th and early 13th centuries by King Jayavarman VII, offers a peaceful walk after visiting the more famous temples, before returning to the hotel for a refresh.
- Angkor Thom - In the afternoon, the tour visits Angkor Thom, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. Highlights include the Royal Palace, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, Bayon temple, and more. The day concludes with a visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom to capture the sunset over the moat from a bridge lined with two rows of 54 giant sandstone statues, before safely returning guests to their hotel.
