- Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge - Sightings of Giraffe, Wildebeest, Impala, Warthog, Hippo, Rhino, Zebra, Blesbok and many species of birds is common. The cycke trails are one of the most popular in the Magaliesberg area and is really beautiful with small hills and a big dam. IT is safe and your guide has cycled the area many times before. After our cycle we can have something small to eat at the restaurant overlooking the dam.We cycle a route either on tar, off road or both. The route is planned to suit your experience and fitness level. We accommodate solo or pair riders to keep it fun. The routes we follow Game tracks and Historical sights. So you will see wild animals including hopefully our Giraffe friends. We also have a number of stop off point of interest where you can have coffee or a meal. The cycle tour is between 1and 3 hours in duration depending on your requirements. We might be stopping to take photos of animals and nature. The distance is between 10 and 30 kilometers. Everything is supplied. This is a fun event but if you are experienced we can go a little quicker for training. We also can do the cycle in The Pretoria Area

Very enjoyable day! - Great experience. We wanted to do something a bit out of the city.
The bikes were good and well maintained.
Shane was very patient…. as I am not very fit! But I was keen to see some wildlife. It was a beautiful place to cycle and we saw giraffes and wildebeest as well as impalas and monkeys.
Shane slowed his speed to mine which was much appreciated, and my husband was able to go on ahead sometimes.
A very enjoyable day for us both!

Great Cycling Adventure with Wildlife! - The Cycling the Cradle of Humankind in Game Reserve with Shane is an unforgettable cycling experience. Shane takes care of every detail to make a stress free time. The Trek mountain bike is well maintained and glides over the varied terrain at the Cradle Moon Park where there is a chance to see a variety of wild animals up close.

Great experience!! - My mom and I had a great time with our guide, Samantha! She was so fun and knowledgeable about the animals, the landscape, and the country of South Africa. We were able to get very close to the giraffes and wildebeests and still felt safe. Big thanks to Samantha and Shane for a great morning in a beautiful place!

Great experience with a superb guide! - Shane is a great guy, easy to talk to and knowledgable of the area. He adapted the cycling tour according to my level of fitness. Definitely a clear recommendation to book a toor with Shane!

A must do for all visiting cyclists. Highly recommended! - If you want to cycle near Joburg this is the one to do. Very good bike, great cycle tour, Shane has lots of interesting stories to talk about, and the beer at the end made it the perfect morning outing!

Amazing cycling experience just outside of Joburg - Shane is a fantastic guide. He is able to tailor the tour to your needs. Bikes and equipment were provided and customised to my height. Shane is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, cycling, the country and an all round amazing person to spend the day with. I'll definitely book again!

Awesome bike ride with all the animals! - Awesome morning bike ride!!!! Informative, up close and fun!
Shane was engaging, kept it to our level of biking and explained many aspects of the park and points of interest on the rides to and from!

Pedaling while game viewing - A nice relaxed ride and some game viewing en route made for a pleasant morning out. I was expecting a longer ride of at least 30-35 km. An easy outing and no cycling expertise required.
