• Koman - 2-Day Itinerary: Valbona to Theth Hike via Koman Lake

Day 1 – Shkodra to Valbona
06:45 AM – Departure from Shkodra
Meet at Hotel Rozafa, situated in the city center. Embark on a picturesque drive towards Koman Lake.

08:30 AM – Arrival at Koman Lake & Ferry Boarding
Board the passenger ferry at Koman. A staff member will assist you. Simply present the ticket provided a day before your journey.

09:00 – 11:30 AM – Komani Lake Ferry Ride
Delight in a breathtaking 2-hour boat ride through the dramatic landscapes of Komani Lake, often likened to the fjords of Norway.

• Fierzë - 12:00 PM – Arrival in Fierza & Minibus Transfer
  Upon reaching Fierza, a shared minibus will transport you to Valbona village.
• Valbona Valley National Park - 1:00 PM – Arrival in Valbona
  Inform the driver of your guesthouse address for a direct drop-off. Check into your guesthouse (not included). Spend the afternoon exploring the valley or relaxing in preparation for the next day’s hike.
• Valbona Pass - Day 2 – Self-Guided Hike: Valbona to Theth
  Early Morning – Hike Begins
  Many guesthouses offer transport to the trailhead at Valbona Pass (additional charge applies). Confirm this when booking your accommodation.
  Start your self-guided hike to Theth using the digital GPS map sent via WhatsApp or email the day before.

Distance: ~17 km
Time: 6–8 hours (depending on pace)
Elevation Gain: ~1000m
Trail: Well-marked with scenic stops

Important: This is a challenging mountain hike. Good footwear, 2–3L of water, snacks, sun protection, and weather-appropriate clothing are essential.

• Theth National Park - Arrival in Theth (Afternoon)
  Upon arrival in Theth, you have two options:

Option 1: Stay overnight (accommodation not included). We’ll arrange your return to Shkodra the following day at 11:00 AM.

Option 2: Return the same day if you arrive before 5:00 PM.

• Shkoder - Return to Shkodra
  Pick-up: Theth village center (at Minimarket Jezerca)
  Departure: 5:00 PM (same day) or 11:00 AM (next day)

Drop-off: Shkodra city center

The journey begins early in Shkoder with organized transportation through Komani Lake and Valbona. Upon arrival in Valbona, guests will stay overnight and start their hike to Theth the following morning.

A comprehensive digital hiking map, helpful tips, and a complete itinerary are provided to guide hikers along the trail. Participants will traverse the breathtaking Accursed Mountains at their own pace, enjoying panoramic views, untouched nature, and charming alpine villages.

The following day, return transportation to Shkoder from Theth is pre-arranged.
