- Sari Salltik - The Tekke of Sari Salltik is a sacred site of the Bektashi order, a Sufi branch of Islam, located atop Sarisalltik mountain at 1176 meters above sea level. At the summit, Sarisalltik mountain features a large cave, 15 meters deep and 4 meters high, with a sacred fountain inside. Adjacent to the cave is a Masjid—a small mosque, the first ever built in Albania, housing the grave of St. Sari Salltik. Sari Salltik is a legendary figure in the Bektashi order. Many visitors also come to enjoy the panoramic view from ‘the balcony of the Adria,’ overlooking the area towards the Adriatic Sea.
