The Best Tour Guide - Emma is one the best tour guides I ever experienced! Experienced and knowledgeable also she is excellent with tourists!

Amazing tour - Arriving in Ephesus on a cruis ship we were looking for a tour that suited us better than those offered by the cruise company which were not only incredibly expensive but meant leaving the ship very early! Looking at all the good reviews we chose to contact Ephesus Port Tours and what a great decision. We had a tremendous day with Mehmet as our guide who met us at a time to suit us (10.30am) and catered the tour to suit our needs. What a joy to be met at the port with an air conditioned car/driver and have a presonalised tour for just the two of us. Mehmet was so very knowledgeable and made Ephesus come alive for us. Don't miss the Terrace houses and also the 'experience' at the end. Seeing all the crowds trying to follow a tour guide made us really appreciate our individual attention. Don't hesitate to use Port Tours - our contact via email was excellent and very efficient. You do need cash to pay and also extra 40 Euros per person for entry plus 15 euros pp to do the Terrace houses which are well worthwhile. The whole site is just amazing and huge thanks again to Mehmet for the highlight of our cruise.

Very attentive and knowledgeable - Our tour guide Emma was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and made the ancient ruins come to life with interesting stories and facts. The tour was well-paced, and she was very kind, professional, and easy to understand. Highly recommend for anyone visiting this amazing site! She also took us for an authentic lunch and explained each item on the table. She definitely made it an amazing experience.

Great Overall tour!! - Wonderful overall introduction to Ephesus and Kusadasi. Ezra was an amazing, she allowed us to tailor the tour to fit our needs with children. It was very educational and informative, while keeping it interesting and fun. Highly recommend and so happy we got her as a tour guide.

Emma knows Ephesus best - So much history and knowledge shared about each place and the culture and religions and holiness . Our guide Emma was amazing. And so was our driver. So kind and courteous and fun.

My second time doing this tour to Ephesus and even better than the first - There are many companies offering tours of Ephesus, but Ephesus Port Tours is the best! The vehicles are so roomy and comfortable. The drivers watch over our things while we are exploring so we can relax. We were met near the ship by Fatih! I was so excited, because he was also our tour guide in 2024! I had previously toured the Ancient Ruins starting and ending at the bottom, but this time we started at the top and walked our way down. Although the stones make a lovely, very old path, some of it is difficult to navigate. Never fear, Fatih was always there with helping hands. One of my group was older and Fatih was always pointing out places to rest on a slab during the tour. It was unbelievable - even the second time - and Fatih walked backwards to face us so we would always understand everything he said. After all the time we wanted to spend we moved on to several other stops, including a stop for local food for lunch. The lunch was 10-15 euros each (I don't remember) but by paying for our lunch we were able to SKIP the carpet presentation (which none of us wanted to repeat). In our group of 7 friends one person said he'd like to get a leather jacket, so Fatih took us to a private runway show. It was unbelievable and although I'm not into buying things while on the tour I absolutely loved this. Fatih didn't allow anyone to give us any high pressure sales, although we wandered through their show room afterwards. The man who wanted a jacket got one for a price so good his wife bought one also. It was a much better experience than I could have imagined. We saw some more sights, did some wandering around, and an hour before our call time we were dropped off at the dock. Fatih continued walking with us as far as he could. Goodbyes were said with many hugs and thank yous. This was the highlight of our around the world cruise. NO OTHER COMPANY IS AS GOOD as Ephesus Port Tours and please request FATIH because he is the best guide in Kusadasi!

Great value! - Nazim was a brilliant guide! Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Great value! Highly recommend doing this over cruise excursions.

Excellent guide. - Expert guide, Selcuk, is extremely knowledgeable and patient. A fountain of information not only about the tour places, but also about all things Turkey. Also, at the end, Great restaurant recommendation.

Missing Ephesus - We are so fortunate to have found this tour operator. We are sailing on Viking Sky and we were schedule to dock in Ephesus. Unfortunately, there was no docking. Italy would not allow the ship to dock at any of their ports if they stopped in Turkey. We connected Ephesus Port Tour and they gracious understood. Prior to this situation they had contacted us to let us know that the cruise ship was providing complimentary tours and did we want to consider that choice. I told them that we were sticking with them. The our did not have to tell us this in advance. Honesty and integrity are very important. We hope to visit Turkey and when we do Ephesus port Tour will be on our list. Kathleen Barber
