- Ancient City of Ephesus - Ephesus is one of the world’s most significant ancient cities, recognized as a UNESCO heritage site. It served as the capital and commercial hub of Asia Minor during the Roman era. It marked the start and end of the King’s Road, one of the three ancient trade routes, alongside the Silk and Spice Roads. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore stunning temples, a library (the third largest in the ancient world), and other Roman-era structures.
- Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - The House of Mother Mary is situated atop Bulbul Mountain, just 6 km from the Ancient City of Ephesus. It is believed that Mother Mary spent her final years at this shrine. According to Catholic tradition, after Jesus’ crucifixion, Mother Mary was brought from Jerusalem to Ephesus by St. John the Apostle. The house’s foundation is based on the visions of Anna Catherine Emmerich and was discovered in 1891. Although it had collapsed due to an earthquake, it was rebuilt as a church and has been visited by Pope Paul VI in 1967 and Pope John Paul II in 1979, making it a registered pilgrimage site.
- The Temple of Artemis - The Temple of Artemis (Diana)
The Temple of Artemis is recognized as the first settlement of the Ephesians. Today, only the basic structure and a column remain, but it is still worth visiting for its historical atmosphere.

Ephesus - The Celcus Library
Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ephesus is among the world’s most significant ancient cities. During the Roman era, it served as the capital and the economic hub of Asia Minor. As a crucial part of the King Road - one of three ancient global trade routes, along with the Silk and Spice Roads - it marks the route’s start and finish point. Visitors can expect to see impressive temples, libraries, and other structures from the Roman period.
Perched atop Bulbul mountain sits The House of Mother Mary. It’s believed that Mother Mary spent her final years in this sacred place. Catholic tradition holds that after Jesus’s crucifixion, St. John the Apostle brought Mother Mary from Jerusalem to Ephesus. Upon their arrival, they found the house had been destroyed by an earthquake. After the reconstruction of The House of Virgin Mary into a church, the site received visits from Pope Paul VI in 1967 and Pope John Paul II in 1979, cementing its status as a pilgrimage destination.
