As a port city, it was a significant departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Stroll through history along marble streets lined with remarkable public buildings, including the Baths of Scholastica and the Library of Celsus, constructed in the early 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila as a tribute to his father, Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of the Province of Asia. The Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive structures in Ephesus. The Grand Theater, built in the 3rd century B.C., was later expanded by the Romans in the 1st century A.D. to accommodate 24,000 spectators.
• Sirince Koyu - After a lunch break, travel to the charming old Turkish-Orthodox village of Sirince, perched atop a mountain, where visitors can admire the stunning vineyards and peach trees. The village offers a blend of Turkish and Greek culture, with visits to a mosque and an Orthodox church. The narrow streets are filled with women selling various handicrafts and olive oil. Another highlight of Sirince is its wine, which can be sampled in small cafés.
• The Temple of Artemis - The final stop is the Temple of Artemis, once one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. After visiting the Temple of Artemis, return to Kusadasi town center and the port.
• Kusadasi - Arrive at Kusadasi City Center. Drop-off is available at the Port of Kusadasi, the city center, or the hotel. This marks the end of the services.
