Amazing private tour to Ephesus - Our private tour of Ephesus with Melisa was nothing short of exceptional! What set Melisa apart was her ability to engage with every member of our group, answering questions and being patience with our 82 and 83 year old moms, the pace of the tour was perfect for them and all of us. Melisa also recommended local spots for lunch afterward, which turned out to be a highlight of our day! If you're planning a trip to Ephesus, I highly recommend booking a tour with her-you won't regret it!

Excellent tour - Absolutely brilliant tour! Amazing sights..: long queue for Mary’s House and quite frankly I’d miss that bit waited over an hour for 30 seconds inside the small church! Otherwise well worth the time Ephesus!

Epehesus in a day from cruise ship - Our private tour with Melih was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about all the historic facts of his beautiful homeland. They picked us up at the cruise port in a very nice van. We went to the house where they think the Virgin Mary may have spent her last days. He gave us all the back story of how they think this was the place where she lived. Then we went to Ephesus and the Terrace Houses. The history here is so mind blowing. They have uncovered so many artifacts and many of them are still in extremely good condition. The Terrace houses were a great example of this. The framework of complete houses with mosaic floors that are still intact. The engineering that they used back in the day that shows how far ahead of their time that they were. I was really glad that we opted to do the optional Terrace Houses. It is well worth it. We had the option to do lunch on our own, or go to where we were served a traditional Turkish lunch. We love to try local cuisine, so opted to do the Turkish lunch. The food was wonderful & there was so much of it. We then had the option of seeing how they make the traditional Turkish rugs or go to a tile factory. The rugs are made by hand and the women sit and do 2 knots at a time on them & even spin the yarn from silk worm cocoons. The artwork of the rugs they make is truly breath taking. They then sat us down & offered us a drink & showed us many of the rugs that we could purchase. They were all beautiful, but because of the labor involved, they were also very spendy. This part made me uncomfortable as I felt like I was at a time share presentation, and got the impression they think that all American have a lot of money. But I was very impressed with the overall experience. I just did not appreciate the insistence that we needed to buy a rug. I really would have liked to gone to the tile factory too, but did not want to have to go through another hard sale so we just avoided it all together. We then went to the Basilica of St John, where it is believe that the apostle John was buried. Melih once again gave us all the historical background of the area. He was really a nice guy & made us feel at home in his country. I would highly recommend this shore excursion from a cruise ship to anyone who is interested in seeing and learning about the history of Ephesus from someone who lives and grew up there. This tour was a great value compared to a lot of them I looked at because all the entry fees were included. The only thing that was extra was a nominal fee for the lunch and it was well worth it. I would definitely use this company again for any shore excursions and Melih was an amazing guide.

Interesting tour - Fascinating ruins and guide provided igood insightful information. However at times it was difficult to hear Cenk due to crowds but he should use a microphone to overcome surrounding noise. As well he should use a rod with a flag so that everyone knows where is ; easy to get separated from group and guide. Lunch was delicious and enabled us to sample Turkish cuisine
