- Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where the mother of Jesus Christ spent her final years. Pope Paul VI visited the shrine in 1967 and ‘unofficially’ confirmed its authenticity. Pope John Paul II visited in 1979, and Pope Benedict XVI in 2006. It is renowned for the Odeon, where music concerts were held, the Domitian Temple, one of the first temples dedicated to a human, the Celcus Library, the third-largest library of ancient times, and the Amphitheatre, one of the largest in the world with a capacity of 24,000 people, where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians. Discover Marble Street, Roman Baths, Fountains, Temples, Agora, Love House, Public Toilets, and the Terrace Houses (optional), famous for their stunning mosaics and wall paintings.
- Ephesus Terrace Houses - The Terrace Houses complex in Ephesus features luxurious residential villas on the northern slope of Bülbüldağı Hill, next to Curetes Street and opposite the Temple of Hadrian. Two housing complexes, Eastern and Western, have been excavated. Built according to the Hippodamian plan, the roads intersect at right angles. Excavation began in 1960, and restoration is ongoing, offering something new to admire each year.
- The Temple of Artemis - Artemis, the Greek goddess and twin of Apollo, replaced the Titan Selene as Goddess of the Moon. The ancient temple, built around 650 BC for the cult of Artemis, was constructed on a site sacred to the Anatolian Mother Goddess, Cybele. Financed by the wealthy king of Lydia, the marshy ground was chosen to prevent future earthquakes.
- The Basilica of Saint John - From a distance, you can see Saint John Basilica when visiting the Artemis temple. It is believed that the Evangelist St. John spent his last years in the Ephesus region and was buried on the southern slope of Ayosolug Hill. St. John’s tomb lies under the central dome of the basilica.
