Excellent buffet, amazing views of nighttime Kuala Lumpur - We have been to this restaurant (under differing management) several times over the years, taking family and friends. The views of nighttime KL are always amazing and much enjoyed. This occasion was by far the best experience we have had. In the past the food was mediocre, but this time the buffet was excellent, catering for all tastes and very good quality. The staff members were uniformly friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

A must do in KL. - Fantastic value for money, the food was excellent as was the service. The restaurant is under new management and my wife and I couldn't fault the experience (wife has a hospitality background) views were amazing. The manager even bought us out a suprise anniversary cake which was very special, not that we needed any more food but was too nice not to eat. A must do in Kuala Lumpur. Paul & Astrid

I’m spinning around - An incredible experience to be revolving on top of a city with a 5 star buffet Bad points: Boiled eggs still had white shell attached.. if you are not aware you may end up spoiling your salad!! It revolves quite slowly. Would be nice to increase the speed by 10%

He absolutely deserves - We had dinner at this famous revolving restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. We had a great time. It is superfluous to review the view and the location because it speaks for itself. Instead, we would like to focus on dinner. Buffet with anything you can imagine. Waitstaff everywhere to help you in case you need. Those who like sushi or sashimi there is also that in addition to various crudites. What about, a dinner at 282 meters high is not every day moreover eating very well. One note: men long pants I recommend. Location to try absolutely

Fancy Dinner - View was great from the start, 6.30 for dinner which gets you a sunset, but due to sky conditions it's not an amazing sunset, food was average, not to much of a variety and think for what we paid it was over priced. As we could have just gone to the observation deck

So So dinner, Not worth the price - The overall experience is okayish. Transport was smooth in comfortable van. After going in there food was okay, variety was there but the only selected dishes were good. Live counter had pasta that was not good. For the price they charging its definitely not worth it. Would prefer street food tour instead

What dress code? - They did not have any recollection of a booking with viator. Even though I had all the proper documentation of receipt and barcode. After a long line of frustration, she finally just gave us two tickets. The check is very unorganized. They would not start checking anyone in till 6:30 PM. But get their work early, to wait in line. There were people that did not get in so probably 715 to actually eat dinner. Food was OK. Paying for the atmosphere, which was great. Don’t worry about the dress code, they say no shorts or flip-flops. I saw at least 15 people shorts. A few with flip-flops some people were basic T-shirts with writing on them. They did not enforce the dress code. My driver told me there was a dress code so I went back to change out of shorts. I am grateful he told us this though. Five stars to The driver. He was great .

Avoid - My visit to ARAS Restaurant at KL Tower was a letdown from start to finish. The staff managing the lifts were rude and unorganized, causing unnecessary delays and confusion, which soured the experience before we even reached the restaurant. Once inside, the food was below average, especially considering the high price. While they offered premium non-alcoholic drinks, these came at an extra cost. Otherwise, only basic options like water, tea, and coffee were included. The lack of variety and quality in the dining experience was disappointing, especially at such a well-known location. For anyone considering dining at ARAS, I’d recommend skipping it altogether. Instead, head to the Sky Bar at Banyan Tree Hotel. The food is excellent, the drinks menu is extensive, and the service is truly five-star. It’s a much better way to enjoy a special night out in Kuala Lumpur. Save yourself the disappointment and opt for a more memorable experience elsewhere!

Aras KL tower - disgraceful false advertising - Only picked 1 star as you have to. This was one of the worst experiences I've had. I'd give it minus zero. Don't waste your money. We were heading for a celebration dinner. I prepaid in July with 7.30pm booking. Arrived early and then was told to wait. Waited 40 mins before being let up. The website is impressive with beautiful views and seafood pictures and it's nothing like that. Crowded, buffets look terrible. People pushed ahead and were let up before us despite booking. They offered me a window seat whilst we waited downstairs for 50 ringgit. When I got there one seat had a dirty window view and the other had a concrete pillar in front. The carpet was worn and everything dated. Finally got a waiter and ordered a glass of champagne only to be informed it is halal! Didn't see that on the website as I would not have booked it if I did. I'm Australian and this was a celebration dinner - I was expecting a glass of bubbles. I left immediately and they would only refund the window seat fee. The company I used to book the venue have offered $20 credit for their site which is unacceptable. I've told them I will never use again. I'll stick with klook used them for years and they can handle situations such as this. Never had an issue. 99 percent of my travel bookings go excellent but the 1 percent that don't you want an agency that can sort things out. So at this point it's 9pm we haven't eaten all day and were looking forward to buffet. We went back to our hotel grand Hyatt and had a late but excellent dinner with best views in KL. It's only 10 floors above our room. Should never have left. So yourself a favour and don't bother with KL tower or Aras for that matter. Go to Thirty8 at grand Hyatt. Amazing views and excellent food and service. And I recommend not using head out. Whilst their response was prompt they cannot get my money back.
