Semenggoh Rehabilitation Center serves as a temporary sanctuary for displaced Orangutans rescued from captivity and young orphaned primates. These animals are retrained to thrive in their natural environment, learning to forage for natural food and construct nests in the trees. Many have been successfully reintroduced into the surrounding area. Visitors can enjoy a walk along the trails and try to spot semi-wild Orangutans.
Sarawak Cultural Village offers a glimpse into the tribal lifestyles of the various ethnic groups that inhabit the beautiful Land of Hornbills, Sarawak. Approximately 150 people reside in the village.
A stroll along the well-designed trail at Jong’s Crocodile Farm will reveal various crocodile holding ponds, animal enclosures, bearded wild boars, sun bears, and a variety of bird species.
