Kunming - Dongchuan. Overnight in Dongchuan

Kunming - At 09:00, the tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel in downtown Kunming or at Kunming Airport/train station. You will then be driven to Dongchuan Red Land, a newly popular tourist spot near Kunming, which is a 3 to 3.5-hour drive covering 150KM.

Dongchuan Red Land - Upon arrival, explore Music Hollow (Yuepuao) and admire the stunning red land of Luoxianggou Valley, surrounded by mountains at sunset. From afar, Luoxiagou resembles a sunken depression. Along the way, traditional local villages enhance the colorful fields.

Dongchuan - Kunming. Tour concludes.

Dongchuan Red Land - After an early morning pick-up from your hotel, transfer to witness the sunrise at Damakan. A vast expanse of red fields lies nestled among continuous mountains at the horizon. Proceed to Seven Color Slope (Qicaipo), named for its seven fields of varying colors when the appropriate crops are planted and flourishing.

Later, visit Jinxiuyuan, which features a wide range of rolling hills with red fields, providing an excellent spot for capturing images of the vibrant fields, a traditional village, and some trees, offering a lively countryside scene.

Kunming - After lunch, return to your hotel in Kunming in the afternoon, or to Kunming Airport/train station, with a drive of 3 to 3.5 hours.
