- Kuranda - After your bus transfer to Kuranda with commentary, you will have about 3 hours explore, shop and eat on your own. It’s a short walk to the train station, alternately use the free shuttle bus that leaves near the Butterfly sanctuary. On the way we may drop off some customers at the Skyrail.

After a quick overview tour of the village, you’ll be given more than 3 hours to discover markets, art galleries, souvenir stores, and zoos (entrance fees not included). You can also choose from a wide array of dining venues.
Following your leisure time in Kuranda, head to the nearby Kuranda Railway Station to embark on the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway. This ride through the rainforest will take you across 37 bridges and through 15 tunnels. You’ll be picked up at Freshwater Station for the ride back to your accommodation or harbor, arriving around 4 pm. Alternatively, you can opt to continue to Cairns Station and walk to your city lodging.
