- Polabske Narodopisne Museum Prerov nad Labem - A guide will lead visitors through a tranquil countryside museum featuring timbered cottages, barns, and historic interiors that reflect centuries of Czech village life. Guests can step inside homes, explore an old schoolroom or stable, and learn about folk traditions — some of which continue to thrive today.
Please note: The open-air museum is closed on Mondays and seasonally in November and from January 1 to March 15. During these times, an alternative charming site will be visited that aligns with the tour’s spirit.
- St Barbara’s Cathedral - Explore one of Europe’s most extraordinary Gothic churches, constructed by miners in tribute to their patron saint. With its soaring vaults, vibrant frescoes, and stunning views over the former silver town, this UNESCO landmark offers both artistic splendor and historical significance.
- Kutna Hora - Once a royal town abundant in silver, Kutná Hora was a rival to Prague in its prime. Today, its allure endures in pastel facades, serene courtyards, and winding alleys.
After a brief guided walk, there will be time to explore: browse local shops, visit a museum(s), enjoy the scenery — or unwind with a glass of local wine.
- The Cathedral of Assumption - Enter one of the oldest cathedrals in Bohemia, a serene baroque-gothic masterpiece that combines spiritual depth with striking architecture. Often overlooked by visitors, this UNESCO site provides a peaceful and uncrowded experience — offering a moment of quiet reflection before the city unfolds.
- Sedlec Ossuary (Benhuset) - Step into one of Europe’s most haunting and unforgettable chapels, adorned with the bones of over 40,000 individuals. Beneath the surface lies a profound reminder of history, mortality, and medieval artistry — all within a surprisingly tranquil setting.
Please note: Photography is strictly prohibited inside the ossuary. As a resting place for thousands, all visitors are asked to treat it with respect.

After a convenient hotel pickup in Prague, the journey begins at a seldom-visited folk village museum. Here, traditional huts are explored, and insights into Czech crafts and traditions are gained.
Following lunch, the tour continues in Kutná Hora, once among Europe’s wealthiest towns. Two cathedrals are visited, cobblestone streets are strolled, and the Royal Mint and Palace are seen. Stops are made at scenic viewpoints or to meet artisans such as a winemaker, ceramicist, or jeweler.
The day concludes at the Bone Church (Sedlec Ossuary), visited in the late afternoon when it is typically quieter, before returning to Prague.
Please note: The folk museum is closed on Mondays and during winter (Nov, Dec 28–Mar 15). On these dates, alternatives like Český Šternberk Castle or the Folk Costume Museum are visited.
