Can't go wrong with Michal. - We took the Kutna Hora and Cesky Krumlov Tours. We have been privileged to to experience Private Tours through Europe. Touring with Michal of Real Prague Tours was exceptional. educational, and thoroughly enjoyable. Michal had a thorough understanding and knowledge of Czech history, traditions, and Culture. We have been to Prague previously; Michal made this visit exceptional for us. One can't go wrong with Michal.

Michal's Professionalism Shines Through - Michal’s strong expertise in architecture, history and art history enlivened and enriched our trip every step of the way. His adaptability, flexibility and deep knowledge allowed him to pivot in response to our interests and questions. He is pleasant, kind and gracious. We can’t imagine our trip without him. Exceptional guide for extraordinary sights. - Our day with Michel at Kutna Hora was excellent from the moment he picked us up at our apartment until he dropped us back there in the evening. His comprehensive knowledge of history and his easy way of communicating that history to us brought the sights alive.
Michel is an exceptional guide and our time here would have been much poorer without his insights, personal anecdotes and smiles.

Awesome experience! Highly recommend this tour with Michael! It was well worth the money! - This tour was so informative and interesting! Michael, was everything you could want in a tour guide: educated, personable, prepared, and fun! We had a great time at the sites, and his choice for the lunch spot was beyond charming, and also delicious! The transportation was comfortable, and he was very accommodating to our needs. I can't say enough good things about this tour!

Great time at Kutna Hora - Private Trip - Well (well) worth it! - This was a great trip and well worth the money! My wife and I were in Prague and wanted to do something different and this was it. We have used Viator before for small group/private tours like this and we have never been disappointed. Michal picked us up right on time at our hotel and we drove to Kutna Hora in his clean Mercedes van. We talked with Michal all the way to Kutna Hora (maybe 1.25hrs). Once there, we visited several nearby churches and Michal shared incredible insight and history at each site (other tourist even leaned in to listen to him). His knowledge and ability to highlight important details of the church architecture, history, and local influences on the church and town are the kind of thing that you really only get on this type of tour. The Bone Church itself was very impressive and breathtaking. To our amazement, it was really a respectful act to build the bone church as they did. We then visited two other churches/cathedrals (which were incredible) and then had lunch. We had lunch at a small restaurant in the town of Kutna Hora. The lunch and beer were EXCELLENT and included. We then had a leisurely drive back to our hotel in Prague. What’s great about this trip was the personalization and attention to detail. We were never rushed, pressured, etc. We just had a great time with a great guide. Though you can probably be shuttled in by a bus and quickly left to tour these places on your own, it was a much more impactful and memorable experience to do it this way. Highly recommend!

Excellent day trip! - If you want a day trip from Prague and a knowledgeable and friendly guide to you then I cannot recommend this enough.
Michal was communicative and helpful about travel plans from the very start. He picked us up for our hotel in a very nice and spacious van. And drove us to Kutna Hora, he took us around the cathedrals, the bone church and to a lovely restaurant for lunch and showed us around the town a little too.
He was exceptionally knowledgeable about all the locations and their history and was able to answer all the questions we had.
Our only regret is not making this day trip the first thing we did on our holiday so we could have got his advice on what to do in Prague or maybe booked another one of his tours as well.

Terrific guide for our Kutna Hora trip! - I'll dive right in and say that our day with Michael was worth every dollar (or Euro, or Koruna!). We got picked up right at our AirBnB, in a super clean and comfortable van for our family of 4. It was a short drive to Kutna Hora with terrific conversation with Michael, who turns out to know a great many things that are interesting to talk about besides bone churches.
The time in Kutna Hora was great. We learned far more about the places we visited from Michael than we could have done on our own. For example, the first church we visited (not the bone church) had huge paintings that Michael was able to explain some of the background, how it related to the history of the church and who the major figures were in the painting. He goes way beyond "this is an old church" to help you learn and understand the history behind it and how it fit into the culture of the times.
The Bone Church was pretty amazing, as was the church built by the silver miners. Lunch with Michael at one of his favorite restaurants was also terrific.
My only regret was not realizing sooner how much Michael would be able to add to our enjoyment of sightseeing in and around Prague. Had I known that I would have booked him for a second day to go through Prague itself. If you have the time and can afford a private tour I highly recommend Michael - you won't be disappointed.

Kutna Hora family trip - This was an excellent trip. Kutna Hora itself of course is fascinating. The drive to Kutna Hora and back was very comfortable. Michal is an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He really made the day very interesting, covering all the sights, not just the amazing ossuary. Our group ranged from a 14 Yr old to an 80 Yr old. Michal kept the pace of the tour just right for us all. And a delicious included lunch at the end. Heartily recommend this trip.
