On this sunset safari, venture into the Eastern Shores of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park from St Lucia. Our Sunset Drives in the Eastern Shores of iSimangaliso Wetland Park promise to be thrilling. Enjoy the serene experience of watching the sun set while observing wildlife. Your ranger, with years of experience in this park, will share their passion with you.

Wildlife in the park includes Rhino (Black & White), Buffalo, Elephant (migrating from the western shores), and Leopard. Unfortunately, Lions are not present on either the western or eastern shores. Other wildlife species include Hippos, Wildebeest, Kudu, Waterbuck, Rietbuck, Impala, and many others.

Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Full Day Big Five Safari

Hluhluwe Game Reserve - Hluhluwe Big Five Safari (Open Safari Vehicle)
Start your day early as we pick you up at 5:00 am from your accommodation and head to the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park (approximately a 1-hour drive). This popular safari offers a genuine feel of this magnificent game reserve. With its rolling hills and open Savannah grasslands, it remains an incredibly scenic reserve, and with its rich history, it promises to be a magnificent day for a Safari.

iSimangaliso Wetland Park - Bush and Beach Safari (Half Day)
After breakfast at your lodge (included), we will pick you up at 8:00 am for the Half Day Bush and Beach Safari. You will be in an Open Game Drive Vehicle for the remainder of the drive to Cape Vidal with your knowledgeable and experienced ranger. They will provide you with incredible information about the Park, its history, and various systems.

From St Lucia to Cape Vidal, it is approximately 28 km, depending on the loop roads the ranger takes you on. Enjoy fantastic game viewing en route, and once at Cape Vidal, you will have the opportunity to enjoy snorkeling in the protected bay of Cape Vidal. (Please note snorkeling is not guaranteed as it is tide and weather dependent).
