Wonderful safari experience! - We had a wonderful safari experience here. Well organized tours and excellent rangers. All the Parks are breathtaking! We saw the big 5!! The leopard was missing on our bucket list but we did see it here at Isimangaliso/Cape vidal game park. Thanks to ranger Sifiso Nzuza! The small charming town of St Lucia also has some nice restaurants and even unusal visitors in the evening: hippo's walking in the streets looking for the nice short grass patches. We very much enjoyed every minute here and hope to return next year 🙏👍

A 3 day once in a lifetime experience between volunteering at animal sanctuaries in South Africa.. - Absolutely fantastic including pick up fm Westbrook and drop off to Durban Airport.. The accommodation, tours and safaris were absolutely wonderful and much more than I expected from my first trip and tours in South Africa.. from booking from Australia to confirmation of pick up etc it was seamless and Bev the Manageress and her team, made my experience as a solo traveller (older female) one of the most comfortable and safe visits I could have hoped for. The guides were great and the animals and natural wonders I saw and experienced were incredible, especially with the history and details provided by the guides. I would totally recommend this trip, particularly if you have limited time. A wonderful experience on all levels. One of the hightlights was seeing the Hippos walking the streets to get to the park for a feed 2 out of 3 nights :) Thanks again Sue White (Australia)

The best Saint Lucia agency in South Africa - We stayed several nights in a hotel run by Heritage Tours & Safaris, and it was just perfect! The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The accommodation is ideally located, close to the main street of Saint Lucia, with all the shops at hand: bars, restaurants, supermarkets, petrol stations... everything you need to be quiet. But the real plus is the activities offered by the agency. We made several excursions and everything was amazing! The safaris were really impressive: cheetahs, elephants in flocks, rhinos, lions, buffaloes... unforgettable encounters. I recommend 100% Heritage Tours & Safaris! Their packages combining hotel + excursions are super convenient and offered at very attractive rates. If you want to enjoy Saint Lucia to the fullest, this is the agency to choose because they offer absolutely all the excursions and activities.

Superb tour operators that I'll personally recommend to everyone - 100% recommend booking via Heritage tours. Accommodation is super comfy and the staff are tremendously kind and welcoming. The tours are just... INCREDIBLE! Sunset, night, Hluhluwe, Isimangaliso, Cape Vidal, Hippo and croc...do them all - you will not regret a single one. Memories made forever. I genuinely cried when we had to leave. I will be back. That's a promise!

Great experience - I stayed for 5 nights at Heritage House and went on safaris twice to Umfolosi and twice to Isimangaliso and Cape Vidal plus the hippo cruise twice. The arrangements for the safaris were very clear and the drivers were always on time to pick me up and return me to the house. Siyabonga, Jabu and Arno all knew their stuff and were very helpful. On a safari trip like these, you don't spend a long time watching the animals as there is always a pressure to try to fit in as much as possible. So don't expect to spend say half an hour looking at elephants or cheetah because there could easily be lions or giraffe, zebras, etc just down the road. I had some great sightings but unfortunately the weather was against us throughout my stay with a lot of rain. Room 5 at Heritage House is very comfortable and I would recommend it. The house is very close to the high street and so it's very easy to walk down to get dinner or lunch each day. Unfortunately I did not see any hippos roaming the streets at night I'd particularly like to thank Bev who set up the whole tour for me and also insisted that I should take a day off from the 04:30 a.m. alarms needed in order to get up and out onto the safaris each day. My only tip is that I wish I'd known that the drive from St. Lucia to Umfolosi is an hour each way and you need to be prepared for that bumpy journey.

Amazing as always! - Second tour with Heritage and it was once again an experience to remember. Bev is always so friendly and even helped adjust the package to accommodate our needs. Staying at Heritage house was so lush. Bonita and the staff were so welcoming and made the best breakfast! We did the night drive with Sakhile and his ability to spot animals in the dark is just amazing! We didn’t miss a single thing, from large hyenas to the tiniest baby chameleons. Next came the full day with Jabu and this man went above and beyond to find the cheetah that we wanted to see and to our surprise, she had a tiny little cub! Looking forward to our next trip with Heritage!

Wonderful experience in Hluluwe and Isimangaliso - Heritage Tours were excellent. Bev was very helpful with the booking. The safari guides were very knowledgeable, professional and fun. Sifiso took us to Hluluwe for the day and we had an amazing time. We saw so many animals, we learnt so much. He cooked one of the best steaks I had in Sth Africa as well. Isimangaliso and St lucia was also beautiful. Very unique environment.

Go with Heritage Tours! - I highly recommend Heritage Tours if you are a solo traveler. I found that many safari companies have a 2 person minimum but Heritage had no hesitation in accommodating me and made my safari holiday happen! They even organized pick up from Durban and drop off at Richards Bay and I felt safe throughout and communication with the office was excellent. The safari guides are excellent and all 3 guides made a point to stop numerous times again and again even if we had seen the same species of animal previously. When I left my Heritage tour, I stayed one night at another game park and paid quite a lot but the guide rushed through the animals once we had seen the first of its kind and didn't allow me to soak in the experience. With Heritage Tours, you get an excellent experience and value for money! I would do it all over again! They truly made my experience memorable in the best way.
