- The Old Man of Storr - The Old Man of Storr is a rock pinnacle standing 160 feet tall on Storr Hill. This area has been featured in several films, including “The Wicker Man” in 1973. A stop at the viewpoint offers an excellent view on a clear day.
- Kilt Rock - Named for its resemblance to the pleats of a kilt, Kilt Rock is viewed from a designated viewpoint.
- Mealt Falls - From the same viewpoint as Kilt Rock, Mealt Falls can be seen cascading 180 feet into the rocky coast below.
- Quiraing - A climb to the viewpoint reveals the Quiraing, formed over one hundred million years ago by a landslip. In winter, travel to the Quiraing is weather-dependent.
- Portree - A stop at the Skye Candle visitor center provides a restroom break before returning to Inverness.

10/10 - Lawrence was amazing! One of the best tours I’ve ever been on (and I’ve been on a lot)! We got to see so much and it felt personalized to our wishes and needs. Lawrence went out of his way to ensure our day was perfect.

Magical Tour of Scotland. - We had an extraordinary 4 day tour with Highlander Private tours. The entire trip, which started in Edinburgh, took us through Inverness, the Isle of Skye and back, exceeded our expectations.
Our guide. Billy, a born and raised Highlander, regaled us with Scottish History, Clan lore, music and an occasional sip of whiskey. His guidance ensured we saw multiple jewels of this magical country. He was a joy to be with, and was very flexible with any of our requests.
This included an unplanned stop at Leault Farm in Kincraig, to watch a sheepdog demonstration that blew us away.
Best trip ever!!! This company has it all!

Fantastic Highlander Adventure! - My husband and I had a fantastic trip to Scotland thanks to Lawrence! We took in amazing sights and have the pictures to prove it since Lawrence was quick to take them for us. I especially loved learning about Lawrence and his experience growing up and living in Scotland. I highly recommend him and his business!

Best Tour Ever! - Amazing tour! Lawrence is such a kind, knowledgeable professional. He knew all the best places to stop, the history of the area, and how to keep things fun. He seamlessly created a personalized tour based of what we wanted. Highly recommend. One of the best hikes and tours I’ve ever received.

Highly recommend! Two summers in a row! - This was incredible! We have used Lawrence two summers in a row now. Not only is he entertaining and hilarious, but he also matches the energy of the group and truly is there to serve your needs. He knows all the local spots while avoiding the crowds. Amazing food too. He is so knowledgeable and allows you to create your dream experience. Could not recommend it enough!

Excellent experience! - Our group of six took a full-day Isle of Skye tour with Billy in late July (departing from Inverness). We were impressed with Billy's attention to detail, not only in the detailed history and lore about the Isle of Skye that he shared with us, but in terms of logistics and comfort as well. Billy was punctual and attentive, offering us bottled waters and snacks throughout our 12-hour day trip. Our group enjoyed many scenic sights during both quick and longer stops throughout Skye (Eilean Donan castle, Uig, Portree, and others). Billy's recommended pub for a lunch stop in Portree was fantastic and had fresh seafood on the menu. We would take another tour with this company.

Wonderful family trip - Our family had a wonderful 3 days travelling to the Isle of Skye, the Old man of Storr and Cairngorm National park with Lawrence and Billy. We appreciated punctual pick ups and timely tea cakes as well as their entertaining stories, historical facts and local lore about Inverness and the surrounding area.
Whether you’re interested in a slower, more relaxed pace, or to see and do as much as you can in the time that you have, you have found the right team! Bill and Lawrence let you decide the type of tour you want and then they make it happen. Our family would 100% recommend this kind and thoughtful team of tour guides.

2 days exploring Scotland - My family had two days with Billy for our day trip to Skye from Inverness followed by our transfer tour from Inverness to Edinburgh and we couldn’t recommend this company and Billy more! He was wonderful right from the prompt pick ups from our accommodation just outside of Inverness both mornings, stopping at all the attractions, providing loads of Scottish history, tips and tricks, and his driving that made us feel very safe on some of those interesting Scotland roads! We never felt rushed during either day and when the weather was not in our favour, Billy as able to accommodate a date change last minute, which was so appreciated. Overall, the experience was a delight and made for very seamless travel so we could enjoy all that Scotland has to offer. Thank you, Billy!

Day tour - Inverness to Skye - My family had a wonderful tour of Skye with Billy. He picked us up from our place in Inverness and was very accommodating to whatever and wherever we wanted to stop. He made sure to hit the crowd pleasers, especially since it was our first time visiting, but also was happy to customize with other stops as well. The weather was not fully cooperative, but we all made the best of it! Overall, an excellent tour of Skye and would highly recommend.
