Amazing scenery and culture - The views were amazing. It was very hot and muggy, but it was well worth it and I am so glad I got to experience it. I also loved learning about the history and culture of Kyoto. Our tour guide Ayuri was so polite and she made our tour much more special.

An awesome tour around Arashiyama! - I had such a fun, excellent, and informative tour with Ayuri-san as my guide! She was very knowledgeable about each place we visited and did her best to answer any questions I had, whether it be about the history of the location or the culture of the people who lived there hundreds of years ago. If she was unsure, Ayuri was eager to find out the answer for me by asking the people who worked and maintained each location, which was definitely appreciated due to the language barrier. If you're at all interested in Japanese history, religion, traditional culture, or nature, and don't mind a day's worth of walking (5 hours is no joke, so prepare accordingly) I highly recommend booking this tour, especially with Ayuri acting as your guide!

An unforgettable experience where soul and nature combine! - Our guide Ayuri is an absolute gem! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during our tour as it was pouring so much! She had towels and spare socks for us and also gave us some snacks as farewell gifts.
It was a great pleasure being in her company and to chat with her while she showed us around with great knowledge and passion. Many good laughter also :)
Bamboo forest is something else and the lunch at the buddhist temple was such an exquisite experience that won't be forgotten any time soon.
I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Ayuri, you won't regret it!!

Great experience - Arashiyama can be crowded and overwhelming. Having Masa as a guide really helped. He took us to some less visited gardens and temples. We also really enjoyed lunch at the temple.

Great tour! - “T” was an excellent tour guide. It was a very warm day but the pace of the tour was great. He led us to temples that were less crowded. While the bamboo forest was quite busy, we thoroughly enjoyed it. He provided us with a wealth of information about the surrounding area. Additionally, he took numerous photos of us, which was really thoughtful. The food was also delicious! Could not ask for a better tour and tour guide!
