Fantastic experience - I had a wonderful time on the Funari Imishi night walking tour with Masaki. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and exploring at night with fewer crowds made the experience very special. Highly recommended, especially with Masaki as a guide!

Yessi was a great host! - I recommend taking this tour to learn more about the shrine. Yessi pointed out things that you would otherwise walk past and not notice. It was very cool to get to learn a bit more about the history. She showed us how to pray at different sites because there are different rituals at each. My tour time was 6pm and was great because it was less crowded and not as hot. The sun did go down shortly after starting but that was ok because the path has lights.

overall great experience - It wasn't hard to find the meeting point after getting detailed instructions from the guide. Our guide (Hiro) also helped us to buy the correct tickets for our short train ride to Fushimi. It is so much better on the evening! Cool lighting, almost zero tourists in sight and not as hot as during the day. The only downside is that we couldn't get goushin as office was already closed. Our guide told us everything you should know about the temple as well as about Japanese culture behind it. He was super responsive and answered all of the questions. Definitely would recommend to first comers and to people interested in shrines and temples around Kyoto.

Culture and anecdote: the best combination - I had the right to a private visit since I was the only participant. Hitoshi taught me many things about culture, spirituality and evolution, as well as traditions punctuated by many anecdotes. He is very caring, passionate and exciting and answers all your questions! I recommend without any hesitation!

Excellent tour and guide - This tour was great and the night time experience made it even better with less crowds and cooler weather. Caleb was great as our tour guide and shared lots of historical and cultural knowledge about the site and customs. He even volunteered to take photos of us all and patiently waited for everyone to get themselves sorted prior to and after the tour. Definitely recommend!

Fushimi-Inari Evening Tour with Fantastic Masaki Guide - Masaki, was for us a super professional guide, kind and very helpful. He gave us a lot of info about Fushimi-Inari, he was very patient in taking pictures and at the end of the tour he gave us a lot of advice on where to go in Kyoto and which restaurants he is going to. We really appreciated the passion in his work and the extreme friendliness
