• Kennin-ji Temple - This is the main entrance of Kennin-ji Temple, which houses cultural treasures such as the renowned “Wind and Thunder Gods” painting.

As you wander through the serene temple grounds, you will find yourself on Hanamikoji Street, suddenly enveloped by its vibrant and unforgettable ambiance!

The traditional teahouse (machiya) district is beautifully preserved, and with some luck, you might catch a glimpse of a maiko or geiko passing by.

• Gion Shirakawa - Take a leisurely walk along the stone-paved path lined with traditional wooden townhouses (machiya), beside the clear waters of the Shirakawa River.

This area is rich in Kyoto charm, and the view at dusk provides a completely different, enchanting experience.
