Mira was amazing! She... - Mira was amazing! She taught us a lot about the traditions of tea making. The matcha tasted wonderful. We watched her do the proper steps and then she let us do it as well. My kids told me how this definitely exceeded their expectations. Getting dressed up in traditional kimonos was very fun! She took plenty of pictures for us to capture this amazing memory. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable Cultural Experience – A Must-Do in Kyoto! - We really enjoyed this tea ceremony experience near the beautiful Imamya Jinjya Shrine. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a group of kind and knowledgeable Japanese women who helped us dress in authentic kimonos with such care and attention to detail. The transformation was both fun and deeply moving—it truly felt like stepping into another time. The tea master was incredible—graceful, insightful, and patient. We learned so much about the traditions, history, and philosophy behind the Japanese tea ceremony. Every gesture had meaning, and the atmosphere was peaceful and respectful, yet very inviting. This was more than just a tourist activity—it was a genuine cultural immersion that we’ll never forget. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the heart of Japanese tradition in an intimate and respectful setting.

The Perfect Japan Experience - My friend and I booked this Tea Ceremony based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, it was a brilliant experience. We were warmly welcomed by lovely ladies who helped us choose the perfect kimonos and dressed us as though we were royalty. The young man who assists in the tea room, took his time taking fabulous photos of us. The Tea Master was professional and knowledgeable and we, quite literally, enjoyed every single moment of the experience! This experience deserves more than 5 stars!!

Beautiful experience - We had the best time. Lovely ladies dressed up in beautiful kimonos, did our hair, then showed us into the tea room. Everything was explained, about the types of tea, what it all meant. The lady tea master did the ritual and we all drank the matcha tea. There was then a chance to make the tea ourselves, A beautiful, peaceful, mindful few hours and a hectic holiday. Perfect

A Magical Experience - My niece and I had an amazing time with this experience. We were treated with so much hospitality, immersed in a rich history and enjoyed a magical tea ceremony. The kimono and hair styling made it even more fun. (And secretly I wasn't a fan of dressing up at first but I'm so glad that I did in the end. It added to the fun.) I would definitely recommend this experience.

Appropriate and not to be missed experience - this ceremony takes place in a small Japanese house, and especially in small committee ( 4 couples). A small downside, we passed by the house without seeing it, when summoning a photo of the meeting place would be welcome the care takes place in several stages - first choice of Kimono, then kimono dressing by one person - second contact with the person who will comment on the ceremony that takes photos with our cameras, inviting us to different poses -third the ceremony takes place with the master of ceremonies, - fourth each couple is invited to perform their ceremony under the eyes of the master of ceremonies, who gently directs us - fifth Question and Answer Period Nothing to regret
