- Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine - 20 minutes from Flagship. Our journey begins at the renowned Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, celebrated for its thousands of Torii Gates.

- Sanjusangendo Temple - 15 minutes from Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. Next, we visit Sanjusangendo Temple, famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy, housed within the temple.
- Gion - 10 minutes from Sanjusangendo Temple. Following the Shirakawa River, we will cycle through the historic backstreets leading to Miyagawa-cho and Tatsumi Bridge in Gion, the renowned geisha district. The ride through this area takes about 20 minutes.
- Nanzen-ji Temple - 15 minutes from the Gion District. Moving closer to the heart of Kyoto City, we will visit Nanzen-ji Temple, one of Japan’s most significant Zen temples.
- Heian Shrine - 10 minutes from Nanzen-ji Temple. Our final stop is the popular Heian Shrine, a Shinto shrine symbolizing Kyoto’s status as Japan’s capital around 800 years ago.
- Kamogawa River - 10 minutes from Heian Shrine. Finally, we will return by following the Kamogawa River, arguably Kyoto’s most famous river. The journey back to our Flagship stop takes approximately 20 minutes.

2 minutes’ walk from Kyoto-Station Hachijo-Exit. First, go out from Hachijo West Gate of Kyoto station and go across the Hachijo Street to the other side. Next, go straight on the west (right) road of IBIS. Turn right at the first corner and keep walking for a bit and you will find us on your right.

Loved this tour! - Our family of five (including three teens - 13, 17, 19) all loved this tour. Aki was a very knowledgeable guide and took many family photos of us at various stops. Our kids said this was their favorite activity in Kyoto!

A memorable experience - We really enjoyed our morning cycle ride with our guide. She took us along the quieter backstreets en route to our destinations. This was our first time riding in a city in Japan but we felt safe with our guide who went at a good pace for us and checked with us regularly. She also gave us good explanations at each stop and stopped at points of interest on the way. The e-bikes were easy to operate and comfortable to ride. A memorable experience!

We had a fabulous time... - We had a fabulous time with Sato! She was so sweet and kind and gave us fantastic food recommendations for after our tour! The ride was well thought out to avoid as much pedestrian traffic as possible and still gave us great views and explanations. The bikes were more traditional style and not too bulky.

A great way to see Kyoto!! - This tour was probably the highlight of our 2 week trip to Japan and we could not recommend it more. The weather wasn't ideal (chilly and mostly cloudy) but that did not detract from a wonderful experience. Aki was a fun, knowledgeable, and thoughtful guide (and great personal photographer!). We appreciated getting to some of the more popular stops early on so as to avoid the crowds. The ebikes made navigating a breeze, and made getting around an unfamiliar city less daunting. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful tour - Wonderful bike tour that took us to lovely sights around Kyoto. Our guide was very knowledgable about Kyoto. Really enjoyed riding the streets of Kyoto on excellent e-bikes.

Nice bike ride through Kyoto - We cycled through Kyoto under the guidance of Ryuto for a morning. There was plenty of time to look around everywhere and the Guide knew extra about everything. Recommended!

A lovely experience, definitely recommended! - We went cycling (3 people) on the 31st of May. Even though it was a bit rainy at the end, we had an amazing day! Our tour guide Ryuto was a very nice and knowledgeable guy. Any questions we had (and we asked a lot), he was able to answer or find out very quickly. He safely guided us through the streets of Kyoto and past the Kamo river and made this tour a lot of fun! It was not too difficult to cycle, but if your stamina isn't the greatest you can choose to ride an electric bike for a small fee. The company also provides you with water bottles and a raincoat in case of upcoming rain, which we greatly appreciated ;)
It was a fun and unique way of exploring Kyoto, so I highly recommend taking this tour!
