See Kyoto in a Day with Kosuke KSK-TOUR - Organised a private full day tour of Kyoto through KSK-TOUR.Prior to the trip I had regular emails with Kosuke and his responses were always prompt and offering guidance on our suggested itinerary. We were on a cruise ship and berthed overnight in Osaka and we arranged for an 8am pick up adjacent to the Ferris wheel alongside the port. He collected us in his 7/8 seater van on the dot of 8am and we drove for an hour to get to Kyoto. It was a great way to see the city, suburbs and countryside and it left this party of Australians amazed at the high density living and the close proximity of residential homes to rail lines and.passing traffic .At all times we felt safe in his vehicle. Ko firstly took our party of 3 to a beautiful Buddhist temple and it's peaceful gardens. Ko had previously explained that there was quite a significant amount of distance between the sites but he was always correct in his time allocation and we were given thorough explanations in a very professional manner by Ko our guide..It was great as being a local he knew all the shortcuts so as to miss the bottlenecks. Next we saw the Inari-taisha shrine and the huge number of Torii Gates -again local knowledge came to the fore as we were able to see the best parts and avoid the growing late morning arrivals. The Golden Pavilion and the Buddha statue was mind blowing and Ko's knowledge was just the right amount of information...not an overload!!! Lunch was done independently at the Nishi Market where it was time to sample some of the delicacies. Plenty of time was given to just wander and then it was off for the afternoon to see Kinkakuji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and the nearby Moon Crossing Bridge...the entire day exceeded all of our expectations... The way Ko made suggestions, took photos, and led the group was brilliant...he certainly knows his" tourist stuff"..he easily had us back to Ozaka port on time. So if you are looking for a great private 1 day Kyoto tour don't look any further...at a much much better rate that what cruise ships charge and not in a large contingent.

Great Look at Kyoto in a Single Day - Our guide for the day, Lewis, was knowledgeable and flexible. Although the crowds were large and it rained throughout most of the day, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We could not have seen as much of Kyoto without Lewis.

Superb tour guide! - Christine was an excellent tour guide! She picked us up from our Osaka Hotel and drove us to Kyoto. In Kyoto we spent about 8 hours touring different sights. It was so nice to have her drive us around as Kyoto is spread out. She would recommend unique and delightful foods to try along the way. She knew where the excellent photo stops were and would gladly take our picture. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Christine. 5 Stars🤩

This tour with... - This tour with Yujiro(Ben) exceeded our expectations. There are many things to do in Kyoto and our tour with Ben covered alot of territory. We visited the amazing bamboo forest and 3 shrines/temples each with their own distinct architecture and history. Ben speaks perfect English and is so knowledgeable about the history of Japan and all the sites we went to visit. He is an excellent photographer and knows the perfect photo spot for each site. We went to lunch at a very local restaraunt and he accomodated our preferences for the type of food we preferred. He is very patient and goes above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied. He even helped us find an unusual souvineer we were looking for. Ben communicated very well ahead of time where exactly our pick up point would be and was there waiting early for us. It is along day but we were in the comfort of a spacious air-conditioned car. We arrived back to the port less tired than if we had gone by train. We highly recommend this tour! We also left with many wonderful memories of such a special tour with Ben. Thank you Ben for a spectacular day. R & R

Day Tour in Kyoto - This tour with Ben let's you experience areas of Kyoto that you would not be able to do in a day on foot. Ben was very knowledgeable in the areas that we visited, coupled with his enthusiasm for the culture of his city and country added to that special day. If you are lucky enough to have the same tour itinerary then make sure he takes you to the Udon Noodle restaurant for lunch that is away from the tourist area. Thank you Ben for such a memorable day.

Kyoto in a Day - This day tour from Osaka was excellent. Our personal guide Ben was friendly, calm, efficient and very knowledgeable. Having a passionate local person as your guide is priceless. From explaining Traditional Japanese Culture to having an Authentic Japanese Lunch, the 10hr Tour wasn’t rushed and the time went quickly. We felt we really experienced Kyoto not just visited. Thankyou Ben for a wonderful experience.
