A day in Kyoto - Our guide Javkson was very good. The tour was good but it was a rainy day, so the bamboo garden, and the last stop we could not enjoy much. Good tour, good guide, if you have one day it will cover the best attractions of Kyoto.

Bus Day Tour - Great day with the tour bus. The guide was knowledgeable, the driver was safe, and they give you plenty of time to roam free which is ideal for large groups. Communication was clear and meet times and locations, with location pin drops, were always available in the group chat in case you forget (or are directionally challenged like me). Highly recommend!

My review - Great historical value. Excellent time of the year, not too cold and not too warm. Great exercise. Will come back again to visit Kyoto. Our guide was very knowledgeable with all the places seen.

15 of us on a private tour from Osaka port to Kyoto. - Our guide, Kaka, was fantastic! Such energy and enthusiasm. She made the rainy day seem brighter. Her English was very good and her love for her country just shined. The weather made the traffic a little slower but she made sure we saw everything allowing for extra time. The communication before the tour with Emma was excellent and took any worry away. There were 15 of us and it was amazing!

Easy way to see several Kyoto sacred spots - This activity is a bargain price for a memorable day. We got on the bus in Osaka, and took it to the Kyoto Station to pick up the next group. The stops were all important places on Japanese history. Our tour guide “Ted” gave us the history lessons about each place before we arrived. There was sufficient time to explore each stop. Ted is very knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. Our bus driver navigated the streets with ease. There was time to rest while on the bus. At the bamboo forest stop there were shops and restaurants, and we enjoyed walking around. Don’t miss walking along the river. We would use this service again and book other tours. Some places in Japan it is not customary to give a tip for services, but a tip is appreciated if you feel the service was good.

Good organization with... - Good organization with plenty of time at each stop. It's a really good way to get between several major destinations that aren't very close to each other. The guide was not super informative, though - it would have been really nice to learn more about the significance and history of what we were seeing. The focus was much more on logistics.

Our tour guide Scarlett... - Our tour guide Scarlett kept us in the loop of what was happening and sent us all the information we needed to know in a groupchat, however it was difficult to follow her after we exited the bus as she would walk super fast in a extremely crowded environment. We found ourselves having to walk in the middle of the road out of the crowds just to keep up. As for the tour itself some of the main attractions do feel pretty rushed and you’re constantly worrying about making it back to the bus on time. For example you get 2 hours at the bamboo forest but it takes 15/20 mins to walk to the entrance from the coach park. So you’ve wasted 30+ mins on just getting to the entrance and back. obviously have to set off at least 20 mins before to make the journey back to the bus. During our tour no one was really interested in the castle and we just sat around waiting to go to the next destination, we spent 90 mins here. I think that 90 mins would be much better spent elsewhere. My advice also would be get back to the bus 10 mins before they tell you to as on our tour we was told to be back at 14:45 and the bus started driving off with people missing at 14:43…
