Family fun Japanese experience - My wife and I visited the Samurai and Ninja museum in Kyoto. One can easily recognise from the outside as there are some Ninjas statues waiting for you. Inside the museum is full of Samurai and Ninja artefacts and articles about their history. We had Gin as our guide, he was very knowledgeable and welcoming, showing how the weapons were used. We had the chance to practise throwing Shuriken stars, and had a competition among the small group of us at the end. Finally one could dressed up either as a Samurai or Ninjas, and the member of the team helped to take pictures of us in the costume with action moves. This is a very entertaining experience for all ages, we had a good time here. A special shout out to Gin.

Fun way to pass an hour. - Small but interesting museum. The tour guide spoke excellent English and gave us a brief history of the samurai. We were able to hold some of the weapons and a helmet. It was fun throwing ninja throwing stars at targets. Staff took photos of us in samurai costumes.

Informative and engaging tour of Kyoto Sumarai Museum - Taka gave us a really entertaining and informative tour of the Museum and then we had time to look around and take a closer look at the exhibits and historical information. We loved it and highly recommend a visit. I learnt so much and only wished the tour allowed a bit more time for questions and more info and Taka’s knowledge was excellent.
