My Hike to the Secret Lago Humantay - I had an amazing experience with our tour guide Toribio in Peru. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and hidden stories .His passion for the Inca history truly came through. The guide was also very friendly, patient, and well-organized. He made sure I felt comfortable and engaged, and he handled the itinerary smoothly from start to finish. Thanks! I was able to appreciate Peru on a much deeper level. I highly recommend this guide to anyone visiting Peru — they turned a great trip into an extraordinary one!

Beautiful hike! - We had a beautiful day and amazing views of the lake, glacier, and mountains. Our day started early with a great breakfast. We continued our journey to the trailhead and started our ascent. We had not adjusted yet to the high altitude and were a bit short of breath, but our guide Roger “Roya” was patient and encouraging. We had plenty of time for pictures. Lunch was above and beyond with first class table setting and delicious food! Great day!

Humantay lagoon with the best equipment - We got the best Guide possible, Maribel is amazing, she explained us super in detail all the details of the lagoon and also many others related to the Inca culture. It made us feel super welcome and was certainly the Best Guide I had in Cusco, if you do any tour with Trexperience ask about Maribel, you will not regret taking the best photos. In addition to her we went with Danilo our driver who had the best music and always talking with us very kindly, Anderson and Pedro, our cooks also did a spectacular job and everything with a super seasoning. Widely recommended this experience but I think the best of all was the team we shared with and if that was not enough this group tour turned out to be private because we were the only ones:)) I can not tire of recommending to my guides and Trexperience. Thank you so much for everything

Gorgeous views of a deep blue glacial lake - Wilian Elvis is a master of avoiding tourists! - Our family of 5 hiked beautiful Humantay Lake after acclimating to the elevation in Cusco for a day or two. Our guide Wilian Elvis led our group to a small hill overlooking a gorgeous deep blue glacial lake backed by snow capped mountains - best of all, we were isolated from the ever-present throng of tourists who had taken the... well-beaten path. This "tourist avoidance" was a regular theme on our tour - thanks to our expert guide Wilian Elvis, who literally ran up and down the trail despite the 14k ft elevation to ensure we all made it, coordinating with cheerful and attentive Sharon and the fresh-legged sobrino Jaime. After descending the trail, our guides helped us wash up and then our chef cooked our group an amazing multi-course picnic lunch with refreshing chicha morada. The (cooked) chicken ceviche was amazing, and even the presentation was A few tips: - The hike starts out quite cold, but warms up quickly when the sun hits the valley - Sunscreen is a must - The trail is steep, and the altitude is breath-taking (12k- 14k feet), but with a slow pace, even the cardiac-challenged in our group (like myself) made it up - The drive to the lake is quite twisty, so if you are prone to motion sickness, you may want to take precautions
