Great way to experience La Crucecita with a wonderful host - A fantastic way to tour the town of La Crucecita and some of their best restaurants with a wonderful host. Maryrose, host and proprietor of Sips & Smiles, is genuinely interested in providing you with a unique and enjoyable experience. You will enjoy amazing cocktails, local dishes you might never order on your own, and leave feeling a wonderful sense of connection to the area. Highly recommend.

Unique Experience - My family of 5 really enjoyed the tour. We went to restaurants we likely would not have found on our own, and have even returned to a couple as we thought they were so good. Maryrose has done an excellent job of seeking out unique spots and choosing great drinks and appies that we probably wouldn’t have tried if it wasn’t for her.

Fun with Food and Drinks! - A great way to see the seaside town of Crucecita! Our tour guide Mary Rose took us to some amazing resto/bars with unique food and drink offerings. Tried some things we never would’ve thought to order on the menus. Had a chance to stop and shop at authentic shops with hand made textiles and jewelry.

Super fun experience! - Maryrose was super nice, showed us places and specific drinks and foods that we would never have found on our own. She even called us afterward with a recommendation for dinner that turned out to be an amazing place! (Otto). I think that the pace of the tour was just right, highly recommended! Even tried the chapulines. (Ask if you don't know).

100% Approval Rating! - We spent the entire day at a beautiful beach that was literally just perfect. In the evening, we celebrated the Fourth of July away from home on the Sips and Smiles Mexican/ devine cocktail tour. This tour is very well thought out and very unique. New drink experiences ( created by a mixologist from Oaxaca just for our tour) varied locations, trivia pursuit questions (fun and educational information about Oaxaca and Mexico), gift bags with cocktail recipes from the tour. Each cocktails is named after a famous Spanish singer Luis Miguel. There is an QR code with the recipe. Each drink is named after a famous song by Luis Miguel .( Luis Miguel is the most famous Spanish-speaking singer in the world.). Our guide knew how to entertain and she did not rush us to complete the tour exactly on time. We all would all nominate Sips and Smiles for an out of the ordinary tour!

Very good atmosphere, excellent place, I will definitely return. - Excellent tour! Mary Rosse, an excellent guide who is always attentive We walked around the very quiet center of Huatulco. The drinks are great and the snacks are 10 out of 10. We traveled from Guanajuato to Bahías de Huatulco and were very satisfied. We will definitely return and shop at Next Stop Huatulco.

Bridal Party Success - My daughter is getting married next month and she wanted one last blow out with her besties in Mexico. Once we decided our destination would be Huatulco I did some research and found a tour called Sips and Smiles(a cocktail tour). When I read the name of the tour, I was sure it was what I wanted as it was completely different from all the other tours on offer. I hit a home run!!!!! Literally, everything was taken care of by Maryrose (our guide). She was there to ensure a memorable night for one and all. The cocktails were created exclusively for Sips and Smiles by a mixologist from Oaxaca city. They cocktails were tasty and the destinations varied which made the evening even more fun. One stop was a mezcal bar. None of us had ever tasted mezcal. (Take baby sips - trust me.) At the end of the tour Maryrose gave each of us a custom mesh bags and recipe cards tied together for the cocktails we taste tested to recreate at home. We had so much fun without being overserved! The consensus of each person in the party is that we would highly recommend this tour and want to go on it again.

Absolutely loved it!! - From the beverages, to the knowledge of the area, to the wonderful conversation Maryrose made this tour such a wonderful part of my trip to Huatulco. I highly recommend it to anyone that’s looking for a fantastic experience

Great drinks and food, guide was questionable. - We had done a similar tour in PVR and were excited to try this tour. Unfortunately it fell a bit flat. We waited at the meeting place for a while, the guide didn’t have a sign stating the tour, Viator doesn’t have her business name. We walked around and were asking people. Finally met her and she expected us to be men. We were told that the recipe cards would reflect the drinks we tried, there was only one. Mary Rose didn’t explain the drinks nor did she know what was in some of them. We felt she was a bit rude to some of the staff. She also seemed inebriated and wanted to take a cab 2 blocks to the next restaurant. The restaurants, drinks, and food were great, but the experience wasn’t what we expected. Definitely a good way to try some of the many restaurants. We did go back to a few of the restaurants during our stay.
