Awesome day exploring on our private tour - Great tour! If you’re considering booking a tour of Huatulco’s many beautiful bays, consider a private tour and this one in particular. The organizer Alberto communicated well about details, picked us up on time at our hotel as planned and gave us a ton of great information about the area ecology/environment and sustainability work. We learned more than we expected before even getting in the boat which helped us appreciate the day even more. Our captain Lipo (not sure about spelling!) and his mate took good care of us onboard. The boat was clean, comfortable and stocked with water, sodas and beer. We were able to craft the day as we wanted, including a little fishing, snorkeling and swimming. We saw whales, a turtle and lots of fish. The bays are beautiful - especially the nearly deserted one in the national park. Lunch on the beach was very good, although bit pricey but that’s not their control - the spot with many restaurant choices is a touristy one. As we watched other boats jam-packed with people we were so happy to have one to ourselves. You won’t be disappointed if you book this tour! Well worth the $.

Well worth it! - Great way to see the different beaches, friendly guides, flexibility to do what you want and go where you want. Caught fish on the way out and we ate them for lunch at the beach place at Maguey. Really wonderful day

Highly recommend private 7 Bays Tour! - We had a private tour of the bays. The entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Alberto picked us up at the resort and gave a history of the Huatulco area and even stopped to allow us to take pictures before heading to the marina. I don't remember our captain's name but he was excellent. We stopped to snorkel at two of the bays. We also had lunch at one of them. They asked us what we would like to do and see. They were flexible with the itinerary. We say dolphins and whales- spectacular trip!

Fantastic day! - From beginning to end this was a fantastic trip. Alberto picked us up, on time, from our hotel (3 couples) and gave us a lot of information about the Huatulco area, biodiversity, plant and animal life, on the way to the marina. He was extremely knowledgeable! At the marina we rented snorkeling equipment (250 pesos/person) and were introduced to our crew, Lepo and his sidekick Johnny. The boat was small but comfortable, with water, beer and pop on board (no snacks, we brought our own). The bays are beautiful, we stopped at one and Johnny came in and snorkeled with us for an hour. We stopped for lunch at another bay, huge portions and the bill came to 3500 pesos for 8 of us. Lepo found whales, tortoises and schools of fish, he even stopped to fish for a few minutes. All in all we were thrilled with our trip and have recommended it to several people at the hotel, great day!

Great marine life & flexibility - This is a small boat with no bathroom or food but it was comfortable. A great ladder to get in and out of the water. Aldolpho and Jonny were nice and great at spotting marine life. We loved the flexibility of doing what we want. Saw turtles (including mating), humpbacks, dolphins and a huge school of rays (spotted eagle?) Jumping and slapping!

Great day on the water - Horacio was our captain for the day. He did a great job avoiding the crowds as we explored the bays and snorkeling areas around Huatulco.

Good time on the tour. - Alberto was our driver and did a great job explaining the history and ecology of the Huatulco area. His biology degree made it very informative. Adolfo was our Captain and did a great job. His English was ok and the boat was small and old but he more than made up for it in his willingness to help. Case in point, our daughter dropped her mask in about 30’ of water. After multiple attempts by Adolfo to retrieve it, he signaled a nearby boat of scuba divers who were entering the water and got them to retrieve it for her. He definitely went above and beyond. Make sure you bring Mexican Pesos with you if you go to any of the restaurants for lunch. It is much easier than trying to negotiate the exchange rate with the waiter.

Homie tours were great.... - Homie tours were great. Super friendly guide, experienced boat driver, spoke some english. I would say best snorkeling was in La Entrega, saw turtles and puffer fish. Water is not clear in most of the bays and its a bit of a rough swim near shore as they all have a strong current. Good outing but I would definitely do a 4 hour tour versus the 7 hour.
