Beauty All Around - Emanuel was our guide for the Arenal Volcano Tour and we truly felt we were hiking along with a very knowledgeable friend. Emanuel was so enthusiastic about sharing his playground with us, and was eager to answer all our questions. The trails are marked and a map is provided but we all agreed that we wouldn't have seen a large portion of the wildlife or even really appreciated the plant life without a guide. Especially one as committed and passionate as Emanuel. At the end of our tour, he surprised us with one of the best pineapples I've ever had. He recommended a great soda that we hit up for lunch and we loved it so much, we went back for breakfast there next day. Definitely recommend! ¡Gracias por todo Emanuel! ¡Pura vida!

Best tour in Costa Rica - Went on this guided tour solo and had the most amazing time! Emmanuel is incredibly knowledgeable and it’s clear he is so passionate about nature and teaching others about the beautiful culture and history of Costa Rica. Would highly recommend to go on a guided tour with him! You will learn a lot :)

Honest guide - The day of our tour had really bad weather (heavy rain, poor visibility) despite being during the dry season. The guide contacted us the morning of our tour saying that it would not be very good given the weather. He offered to watch the weather and see if it maybe cleared later in the day. It didn't. He did refund us though!

The way to experience Arenal - Emanuel was a fantastic guide and has deep knowledge of the area and native plants and animals. We were lucky enough to see monkeys and a variety of birds due to Emanuel’s expertise at spotting! It was like taking a hike with a friend. What an experience - We highly recommend Emanuel’s company!

Excellent volcano hike with great views - Emanuel did a fantastic job guiding us on this super interesting hike. Without him we would not have been able to see so much flora and fauna. Recommended

Costa Rica is Pura Vida - Emanuel is an amazing guide. He is knowledgeable and very passionate about nature and animals. The way he explains is making you want to see more , to know more, and appreciate the nature with all her creatures, from a little frog to a leafe or an arbore that hides a door for a tarantula. Thank you for this adventure. It is fascinating to see it all true his ejes.

Arenal volcano hike La Fortuna - We booked an Arenal volcano hike La Fortuna two days ago with Emanuel and it was fantastic !! We had a private tour with Emanuel and he taught us so much about the Rain Forest, trees, plants and animals... so much more than we expected. He is a very passionate guide that you should definitely book.

Highlight of my trip! - Oh my gosh, this was the HIGHLIGHT of my trip! I visited Costa Rica as a solo traveler for a week this past November, and had a full itinerary of everything I wanted to do. This list, obviously, included a visit to Arenal Volcano, but I didn't know exactly what I needed to do to make sure I got the full experience. Thankfully, the night before I made the 3-hour drive to Fortuna, I came across this Viator offer for a hiking tour. I speedily reserved my spot, and headed out the next morning, not knowing exactly what to expect. Well, let's be honest — this was likely the highlight of my entire trip! I met my tour guide, Eduardo, in the city center, and we took off in my car with some snacks in tow. He was fluent in Spanish and I was fluent in English, so we ended up speaking Spanglish the majority of our time together, which turned into nearly 6 hours all in all. On the way to Arenal, he asked me to pull over so we could see a sloth in a tree just off the highway. The only sloth I saw my entire trip, and what a memorable start to a great journey! Next, we drove on to Arenal, and ate some fresh fruit (pineapple and mango) before making the hike up. The hike was AMAZING, super beautiful, and even some drizzle didn't stop us from fully enjoying the experience. It was so nice and refreshing to have thoughtful, in-depth conversations with Eduardo about the tourism industry, his kids, and the state of the world throughout our journey, and he was someone I would definitely hang out with again. After our hike, we went to the hot springs to check them out, then drank some beers and watched the sunset. This is a definite must for any and all travelers, let alone cool solo travelers like yours truly lol :) Many thanks to Eduardo and Emmanuel for making this such a memorable experience!

Amazing experience, well worth it - Eduardo is an exceptional guide who not only shared his extensive knowledge of the region's flora and fauna but also offered fascinating insights into his own life experiences growing up there. Our hike to Mirador El Silencio was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Eduardo expertly spotted wildlife and even assisted us in capturing some fantastic photographs with his telescope. We were treated to breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano and the lake. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable experience Emmanuel, the tour operator, was very helpful, responsive and answered my questions patiently
