Adrenaline rush with safety - So much fun! Felt very safe the entire time and there wasn’t too much time spent waiting in line. Such an adrenaline rush, would do it again!

- It was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, everything was well-organized, , and genuinely fun.
Our guided, Beto and Mauricio, were incredibly passionate and made the entire experience feel authentic and breathtaking.
From the moment we arrived, the team was welcoming, professional, and clearly experienced. They gave us a detailed safety briefing and made sure everyone was comfortable with the gear and technique before we started. For someone who had never rappelled before, I felt completely safe and well taken care of..
If you’re looking to step out of your comfort zone and try something totally unforgettable, this experience is 100% worth it. I left feeling proud, energized! Great experience with PURE TREK! ! Pura vida!

Exciting and beautiful! - My family of 7 age ranging between 7 and 64 enjoyed this excursion. The guides on this trip were beyond accommodating. They made us feel safe and were great with the children on the tour. I am terrified of heights and i was honestly scared on each rappel but i am so glad that we did this tour. The first rappel is the tallest, followed by a monkey drop, and the three smaller rappels. Not only was it exciting but the views are gorgeous! I would highly recommend this for anyone!

We had a great time here!... - We had a great time here!
I was very nervous to do the first rappelling but the whole crew made us feel very safe the whole time and they take safety seriously.
The monkey drop is optional but I highly recommend- super fun! Be ready to get wet as most of the jumps are through waterfalls.
The lunch afterwards was very good!
They do take high-quality photos of you throughout but they are quite pricey to purchase ($35 for 2 people).

What a great experience!... - What a great experience! There are 4 rappels and 1 “monkey drop” that’s like a zip into water that is optional. We travelled with our 3 kids ages 5, 10, and 11. My 5 year old was too nervous for the first, big, one and the guides were very accommodating. They led her past the first 3 and she was able to do the final 2 and said she would go again! We felt very safe the entire time and they were so good with the kids. I would recommend this experience if you want something pretty adventurous!

Book now- great experience - This was an amazing experience. We went with a large family, including teens and kids as young as 8. It was adrenaline inducing in the best possible way. Our 8 year old would probably have skipped the Monkey Drop rappel (which is possible), but loved everything else. Pure Trek was organized, professional and well run. We felt safe the entire time. Our guide Jorge was excellent. Even the meal at their HQ was great. Don't miss this experience.

- This was our first time canyoning and needless to say, I was pretty nervous (of course, my adventurous 8 year old son was not!). However, despite my nerves, I'm really glad we did this unique excursion because it's truly an experience that is memorable and the guides helped me feel more confident in "taking the plunge". I just wish that the highest waterfall that you rappel down wasn't the first one because I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I had done it at the end after getting the hang of canyoning down one of the smaller waterfalls first (although I understand for logistical reasons, this can't happen since you're starting from the highest point and working your way down).
One suggestion I have is---wear your swimsuit because there is one part where you get lowered down into an area where you're completely submerged in water and this would've been more comfortable to have our swimsuits on under our clothes. The only other complaint I had was the gloves I used were a bit big for my small hands and they only had one size option, so for one of the ladders I had to climb (in the rain), it was a bit tricky doing so with gloves that were slipping off. Otherwise, it was a thrilling/fun experience and it was nice to have a warm lunch afterwards (chicken, rice, black beans, juice) back at the Pure Trek office. Pura vida!
