Amazing experience - Taking this cooking class in La Fortuna was such a cool experience overall. The setting alone made it special — being on a farm surrounded by nature, getting to see different animals up close, and learning about all the fresh fruits growing right there was something you don’t get every day. Austin, our instructor, really made the experience. He was hilarious the entire time and kept things fun and engaging, which made the class feel more like hanging out than a lesson. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. The food turned out amazing — seriously some of the best we had on the trip. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying knowing we helped make it ourselves. The only downside was that it did take a bit longer than expected, so just be prepared to spend a good chunk of time there. But honestly, with the atmosphere, the laughs, and the overall experience, it was still 100% worth it. Definitely recommend if you’re in La Fortuna and want something unique, fun, and memorable.

Perfect family evening activity - Really lovely evening doing th cookery class with our two daughters aged 9 and 6. Was interesting to get a tour of the farm and get a sense of Costa Rica agriculture and then it was a lot of fun to cook dinner together. A very wholesome evening. Highly recommend.

Delicious Costa Rican meal in a great setting - We had a lovely time. The food was delicious, the tour was interesting and Andrew was excellent at getting us all involved. We made the best empanadas I’ve ever eaten. Even our 14-year old was raving about the food. Highly recommend.

Fun relaxed cooking class with friends - Really fun to learn about some native plants and foods, milk a goat! And cook together in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The class was around 2hrs including eating together at the end, there was lots of iced water and fresh pineapple juice with the food.

Be cautious - Paid 45 dollars a person for a meal that took 3.5 hours to make and cost probably 50 American cents. Do not recommend.
