Amazing experience - Don't hesitate, book. Chela was amazing, the food was amazing, the experience was amazing. We took our 7 year old and our 13 year old and they both loved it!! Best meal in Costa Rica hands down.

Amazing night! - This was so much fun! Went with my wife. There was 7 of us in total in the group. Made an amazing fish dinner with the group. The host was excellent. I even made it back for lunch later in the week!

Fun, engaging dinner for families! - We had the best evening cooking and learning with Chela this week. She is an amazing host and had our young elementary aged children engaged all night. The food is DELICIOUS and we got a true feel for the community in our time with Chela. She is wonderful and made the whole night special. This was my favorite activity of the trip and I will recommend to everyone! You won’t regret booking this reservation.

a great authentic experience in costa rica - a wonderful way to get your hands dirty and experience costa rican culture. chela + her team are awesome - super professional, warm, friendly and very chatty. cooking together with other guests is fun too, lots to share and gave the whole experience a family vibe. we were also so happy to know that booking with them supports a lot of local businesses and people, which is the right way to travel. we'd do it again! the food was delicious, too :)

An experience of a lifetime!! - The experience was truly amazing , the owner was so accommodating .We laughed , danced , drank wine and , prepped and cooked our own food . The ingredients were so fresh and the dinner was spectacular . Well worth the experience!!

A Must Do evening!! So fun and delicious. - We had an amazing time at the Costa Rican cooking class! There were 8 of us and we were joined by another couple the night of the dinner. The owner and her staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, making the entire experience so enjoyable. They guided us through traditional recipes step by step, and we were able to contribute to the level of our comfort. The highlight for me was making (and eating!) the delicious fresh tortillas from scratch—such a treat! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic Costa Rican flavors. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Costa Rica—it’s perfect for food lovers, families, or anyone looking to try something new.

Fun Experience - Such a fun experience! There was one other family during our session and we cooked one meal together as a large group. Food was delicious and we learned so much about traditional Costa Rican cuisine and cooking. Chela was so lovely and kind. Would highly recommend!

Must-do La Fortuna experience - This is a must do experience when in La Fortuna. Chela and her team are wonderful hosts warm, welcoming and fun. We learned a lot about the culture, cooking styles and had a great time. Plus, we learned that booking this class supports a local community that doesn't benefit as much as other attractions from the area tourism - Chela employs locals, buys produce from local farmers, etc. Very worthy spend. They were so great with my 5 and 9 year olds, everyone got to be very hands on. Plus the food was delicious. Invite them to dine with you too, and have even more great conversation. 10/10 would do again a trip highlight.
