The ride takes around 30 minutes to get to a rain forest with hanging bridges at different heights where we will go for a 2 miles hike and with some luck, we will be able to see: howler monkeys, spider monkeys, white faced cappuccino monkeys, lots of birds, snakes, armadillos, coatis, and other animals; After our hike on the rain forest we will continue our journey to La Fortuna Waterfall a beautiful place with a lot of vegetation around it, once there we will hike down (500 steps with some resting areas) to the waterfall base to go for a swim on the cool pristine waters of La Fortuna river, after all this exercise you will be hungry so we will take to a nice restaurant near by to enjoy a delicious lunch.

During this roughly two-mile trek, with a bit of luck, visitors might spot Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, White-faced Capuchin Monkeys, numerous bird species, snakes, Armadillos, Coatimundis (a member of the Raccoon family known for seeking food scraps), and possibly other animals like Iguanas and Sloths.
Following the rainforest hike, the adventure continues to the La Fortuna Waterfall, a stunning location surrounded by lush vegetation. Upon arrival, there is another descent (500 steps with some resting spots) to the waterfall’s base, where visitors can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear, pristine waters of the La Fortuna River. After all this physical activity, a visit to a nearby restaurant is planned to savor a delightful lunch.
