What a great day! - First- the zip lining- the course is really cool, zigging and zagging over and through the forest and mountains. I was so scared but after the first line, it actually isn't scary at all. You don't go THAT fast and while you are high up and would definitely die if you fell, you are totally safe and secure and will not fall! Every guide was personable, cautious, thorough, and wonderful. They keep the line moving without rushing or being sloppy. They give excellent instructions and encouragement. The optional tarzan swing in the middle of the 12 zip lines was a highlight. It was fun to watch everyone swing, go upside down, scream, and wimp out! I am an almost 50 year old mom and I did it (only because my 12 year old would never have let me live it down if I didnt!). Second- the hanging bridges. It is a lot of walking which I enjoyed, but perhaps you would not? The paths are paved and the Costa Rican parks dept does an incredible job of upkeeping them and somehow making them not slick even on this rainy/overcast day. On that walk you see dozens of animals- spider monkeys, leaf cutter ants, eyelash vipers, and a hummingbird were our highlight animals! Our guide, Emanuel, is an encyclopedia of nature and animal knowledge, No matter what you saw or asked about, he could explain it thoroughly. You get the sense that if you took 20 walks with him through the same park, you would get totally different information each time. He is super into Anime and Pokemon if you want to talk about that, in addition to wildlife (my son did)! The hanging bridges themselves are super cool and kinda scary! They rock back and forth a lot! I had to hold on almost the whole way across and I was scared to take out my phone bc it is a long way down! Fortunately our lovely guide took many pictures of us at the waterfall and on the bridges. This is a fun combo trip but either part would be great on its own. Every Jacamar tour guide on the 4 tours I did was excellent. Could not recommend this tour or this company more highly

Great half day experience! - We felt like this option provided the best of both worlds. We got an adrenaline rush with zip-lining then got to see all the levels if the rainforest. We saw howler monkeys, mot-mot, snakes and lizards! Diego was our guide and was so knowledgeable and friendly.

Beautiful views and wonderful guides. - Humorous and delightful experience. We felt very safe in Dillon’s care and experience in zip lining. The views were incredible and the zip lines were thrilling! Jose (guide) was open to all questions we had about the flora, fauna and history of The rain forest, ecology and Costa Rica’s rich history. I came away with new knowledge and appreciation for Costa Rica and its people.

Fun, safe, and a great way to see the forest differently! - We had an excellent experience on the Zipline adventures. The staff were friendly and helpful -- safety first, but always fun and light-hearted. We felt completely comfortable. The views were amazing, and we appreciated the forest from the platforms and paths. I would highly recommend this tour. (Note: we only did the Zipline and not the Hanging Bridges)

Worth it - We had a very good time doing the bridges and zip line. The zip line portion and Tarzan swing were the best. Our guide for the bridges was nice, but not as knowledgeable as other guides we saw. He mostly read signs to us. Still, a very good trip. Pura vida.
