This was a really great... - This was a really great experience and a great way to see the unique landscape of Lanzarote, as well as (of course) the wines. We visited a range of wineries including larger and smaller ones and tasted so much beautiful wine! Lola was amazing, really friendly and relaxed, and nothing was too much. The lunch was absolutely delicious, at a tiny little place we'd probably never have found otherwise, and we also visited a local market between wineries. I can't recommend this tour and Lola enough!

A wonderful wine tasting tour with the magical, Lola - Yesterday we joined Lola’s wine tasting tour and what a day it turned out to be. Lola is a local guide who keeps her tours small and personal, and we were lucky enough to have her all to ourselves, which made the whole experience feel even more special. A reassuring message first thing confirmed our pick-up, and true to form, she collected us right from where we were staying. From the moment we met her, Lola was warm, fun, and effortlessly engaging. She has a genuine love for what she does (and for her animals!), and that shines through in every part of the day. We visited three beautiful wineries in the morning before heading for an incredible tapas lunch, then rounded off the afternoon with two more stops. At one point, we even spotted camels returning from the volcano and, in a lovely spontaneous detour, Lola took us to a hidden spot to watch them pass by. One of those unexpected moments that sticks with you. Picked up around 10:15 and dropped back at 5pm, it was a full day, but never rushed. Just perfectly paced, relaxed, and full of little touches that made it memorable. By the end, it felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend. The best winery tour in Lanzarote - WOW, what an amazing trip! Lolita was so experienced and enthusiastic about her country and had so much knowledge, more than we found out on a whole day tour of the whole island the day before. She took us to lovely wineries where they all knew her and we were treated very well with our tastings! Local tapas place with loads of great food. We couldn't have asked for more and were overwhelmed with the hospitality over the whole day. Well worth the money! A must for those who like wine and culture.

Lola will become your new best friend in Lanzarote - We were very fortunate to take the Lanzarote wine tasting tour. Lola herself came to collect us at our hotel to begin a great day of learning about the people and the unique environment of the island and tasting a multitude of wines from local producers. We avoided the big bus tours and opted for something more intimate. It was the right choice as Lola makes this tour something extra special. When you first meet her, you will be in smiles because she has a very fun and engaging personality. You can tell she brings genuine passion about Lanzarote and its people. Because she is a local, going with her opened up a whole set of new experiences that you really cannot find elsewhere. She may nearly know almost everyone on the island! In terms of value for this tour, Lola does not disappoint. We ended up visiting an extra winery and we had a fantastic local lunch (included in the price) at a tiny local place that we never would have found on our own or with any other tour. Lola definitely has a big heart and by the end of the day, you will find she has given a little piece of it to you. Enjoyable Tour and constructive criticism on Cultural Awareness - I want to start by saying that our tour guide was kind, accommodating, pleasant, and clearly very knowledgeable about the island. Her familiarity with the landscape and history made for an engaging experience, and I did come away feeling like I learned a lot about the area. However, there was a very serious issue that cannot be overlooked. Despite the fact that two black guests (myself included) were present, the guide quoted how others had referred to people of African descent by using a racial slur (twice) while sharing anecdotes about her time living in another country. This was deeply uncomfortable and unacceptable. Regardless of intent and that the slur was not directed at us, language like this has no place in a professional setting, especially one that involves interacting with diverse groups of people. Cultural sensitivity and awareness are essential in hospitality, and I strongly believe the guide would benefit from formal training in this area. In terms of the tour itself, it’s worth noting that this is not a deep-dive wine education experience. If you’re expecting a structured wine tasting where you learn about grape varieties, tasting techniques, and the nuances of flavor, this may not meet those expectations. Instead, it’s more of a semi-private island tour where you learn about the island's history, agriculture and have the opportunity to have wine tastings and tapas at several wineries along the way. Except for the concerns about cultural sensitivity, this tour is an excellent experience as the guide is very passionate and proud about her island home.
