Best local food tour - We enjoyed our personalized your. We learned lots about the history of La Paz, ate amazing food, received recommendations of other things to do in town. We have already revisited one of the restaurants we stopped at in our tour as well! We are glad we found the Baja Foody tour!

Food! History! Arts! Vegetation! - Wonderful food tour! Our guide (a local artist and do not remember his name--SO SORRY!) provide information on local history, artisans and vegetation! The different foods we tried were delicious and the walk between stops was definitely worthwhile. I highly recommend this tour! One constructive criticism: providing future guests with a map of La Paz, marking the different eateries so that patrons can return after the tour.

Food! History! Art! Vegetation! - Our guide, who is a local artist (forgot his name, SO SORRY!) was wonderful! He did an excellent job! As we walked between eateries , he would explain the history of the area, identify several murals and talked about the other local artists who created them and taught us about local vegetation. The food was delicious! His knowledge was interesting and informative! The walk around town was very pleasant and necessary to help process food between stops. I HIGHLY recommend this food tour! One constructive criticism: provide a local map to the guests with the food stops marked so that guests can go back later.

Delicious food, fabulous guide. 5 stars! - The tour exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and places we never would have found on our own. Our guide, Juan Pablo, explained the history of La Paz and how it influenced the food we were eating. We had time to walk around a traditional market. Our group was a good mix of people that made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our time in La Paz.

Great way to see the city! - Our guide was an extremely knowledgeable local. Not only did he share food with us, but on the way spoke about various historical buildings, art, plants, cultural tidbits, etc. Great for the beginning of your trip to get to know some areas of the city and some good food spots to come back to! We had so much fun! Note that it is a WALKING tour. Wear sunscreen, comfortable shoes, use the bathroom before starting. There are places to stop along the way but they're planned stops so as not to interrupt the flow of the tour too much.

Nice WALK around LaPaz - This is a nice WALKING tour of LaPaz. The food was tasty also. Our Tour guide seemed very knowledgeable and was super friendly. He also is a local art gallery/coffee shop owner and is very talented.

Tasty and informational - We weren't sure what to expect on a La Paz food tour, since we already know a lot about Mexican food. But our tour with Giovanni was a delight, as we wound through the neighborhoods beyond the Malecón and tried many new things (sweet bean empanadas...yum!). Like all good food tours, this was as much about spending several hours with a knowledgeable local as it was about the food: Giovanni is a painter and took us to several of La Paz's amazing street murals, and he knew a lot about the local trees and plants. At the end, he brought us to the cafe and gallery he runs for a final mango crepe.

Variety of food; good information - Tour had a nice variety of food (Empanadas were the best) and we explored parts of LaPaz we probably would not have experienced. Guide is a native so was very knowledgeable. Lots of walking on uneven surfaces so be prepared.
