In the event of adverse weather conditions, the tour may need to be canceled. This is typically determined 1-2 days in advance, so please consider this when planning your itinerary.

The whale shark area is limited to 14 boats at a time, and we receive daily turn assignments. We secure our requested turn 95% of the time, but occasionally, we may receive a later turn, which could alter the meeting time.

Ensure that the contact email or phone number provided is accessible during your stay in La Paz, in case we need to reach you regarding any schedule changes.

Additionally, as with all water tours, there may occasionally be small jellyfish present. Whale sharks are in their natural environment, so we cannot guarantee specific conditions regarding visibility, the number of sharks, or the duration of sightings.

Tour footage will be sent within 2-3 days. Please contact us if you do not receive it within that timeframe.

Please note that favorable weather conditions are necessary for these tours to operate. La Paz Bay is closed to all boat tours during strong winds, which may result in cancellations. We will provide notice 1-2 days in advance if this occurs.

• Bring towel and warm clothes (VERY important Nov-March) and biodegradable sunscreen
• Activity restricted for safety and federal regulations to: women in pregnancy, heart, neck and breathing problems
• Freediving is not allowed due to Federal regulations, only snorkeling in the surface
• In case of bad weather forecast, we will let you know 2-3 days in advance. In some cases the waves can be moderate causing a choppy ride, and on other days with high winds, the bay may be closed officially to all boat tours

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
