Well organized agency - Super organized! I would recommend it to travel in Bolivia. We crossed the border with Peru Hop and proceeded to La Paz with Bolivia Hop. They follow you in any part of the trip, never left alone! A big thank to Abner, who was a very good guide and helped me to find a book I left on the bus! Thanks a lot

A good route - In 4 hours Abner was more pleasant and kind than many other multi-day tour guides. The buses are comfortable and the view is worth it.

Bolivia Hop, a trusted agency - It has been a very interesting and very well guided visit by Emerson. A very attentive and empathetic person with the passengers. The Sun Island is a wonderful place.

- Nain was our wonderful guide, he was happy to answer any questions and always cheerful. The bus was comfortable enough and blankets were provided for the night time. I’ve been on more comfortable buses with other companies but no complaints!

Sloppy, partially false and insufficient information but one of the employees stood out because her kindness and concern - Isla del Sol was marvellous. The journey there was horrible in an old uncomfortable bus. A lot of confusion on the bus as there’re were customers of two or three trips mixed. The talk about entering Peru was very confusing as it did not apply to the visitors to Isla del Sol who returned to La Paz. The info materials provided by the operator stated that one can arrange accommodation with the guide on the bus. False. I received that info a day before the trip but only because I took the initiative to confirm. They apologised a lot but apologising is cheap. Moreover, no prior adequate info on what one can do in the many hours alone on the island after arrival in the afternoon till 15:00 the next day. No info one should not book accommodation on top of the very steep hill, requiring to walk a steep donkey oath, if one has luggage. All the talk about amigios and chicos did not make it more friendly. One recommendable highlight was the female guide who was in charge of the minibus, which brought us to our accommodation in La Paz: she waited till my accommodation host opened the door because she was concerned about personal safety. Thank you

ALERT: NOT FOR SERIOUS TRAVELLERS - The representatives of the company and the senior managers have good intentions, but good intentions do not properly deliver what the company advertises. They sell a good product for backpackers that are not concerned with quality services, clean accommodation, and value for money. The ads of the company show that they differentiate from other companies because they pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation. It is not true for more than 50% of the drop-offs and pick-ups. You pay the tours and accommodation in advance, but in many instances, the company put you in party hotels or low quality accommodation. Many of the tours are cancelled, and sometimes the company needs to move you to cheaper hotels due to overbooking, but the company does not want to refund your money straight away. They insist on giving you credit for future use (you need to insist a lot to have your money back). If you have heavy bags with wheels (because you've travelled by plane before to join the tour of the Company), prepare to carry your bags for hundreds of mts and climb dozen of stairs. You request, during the booking of your tours of the company, some of your requirements (e.g., book only rooms on the ground floor due to problems with lower back). The Company accepts your requirements but never delivers your specific requirements. Another thing is the fact that the company offers VIP tickets with advantages for additional costs. I bought VIP tickets, but it did not give me any advantage in relation to other guests who paid less. In fact, everything that happens during the tours is based on who is stronger and quicker to arrive first in hotels and buses. These people get the best of everything, even if you paid for VIP seats and benefits. Note that some tours offered are based on the destruction of natural environments (e.g., hundreds of buggies over beautiful dunes in Huacachina).

Disappointing Titicaca Lake Tour Experience - I joined the tour with my close friend, and we were not satisfied with it at all! We crossed the border (which is quite an interesting border in the world), and the tour guide Juan Carlos was super helpful, but Guia Moises was just so-so. We bought a special Titicaca Lake tour through the Peru Hop platform, but we didn’t see anything of interest. They took us to one island and then asked us to buy a special Titicaca boat tour. The cost was 10 Sol, but Peru Hop was selling it for 15 Sol. You should always be sure about prices. They vary a lot everywhere. Bargaining is always possible, but Peru Hop’s inconsistency in this regard was not good at all. By the way, the handmade products on the island are sold for at least 100 Sol, and if you don't buy anything, the locals might get angry with you. You’ll also have to wake up at 5:30 AM, join the 6:00 AM tour without breakfast, and you might even get scolded on top of that.
