Great death road tour - We had an amazing time on the death road! Noel and the team went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and safe, with multiple check ins and what we could expect from the road. The lunch at the wildlife sanctuary was also a treat!

Very recommended - I would definitely recommend doing the death road with Gravity. They are really helpful, explain everything in details that lets you feel safe, they are also fun and very understandable if you want to take a break. The gear is safe, the brakes work perfectly and the clothes you get are good as well. The bus follows you around so that you can get on the bus at any moment, or leave all your belongings on the bus so that you don't need to carry a bag. You get free water, snacks, sandwiches and a late lunch. They thought about everything. You even get pictures at the end of the tour. So definitely recommend.

Great experience on the Death Road - Riding down the Death Road is definitely a great activity to do while in La Paz. We chose Gravity based on the ratings and reputation of the company and were not disappointed. Overall our experience with Gravity was very good. The equipment provided (bikes, helmets, etc.) was very good and the guides were excellent. Good equipment is very important since the the road is mostly steep and rough and the bikes need to have good breaks and front and rear suspension. The guides take the safety of the riders very seriously and provided thorough instructions to ensure our safety and enjoyment. Noel and Ruben, our guides, were excellent. Not only did they speak English fluently and give instructions clearly, but they were very experienced and fun to be around. The ride itself is both amazing and demanding. You get to see the amazing landscape of the Andes range, as well as the lush mountains of the Yungas, and of course the scary precipices along the road. While I think most people can do this ride you should at least have some experience biking. Also, the roughness of the road can impact your wrists and fingers as there is constant impact on them. The reason my rating is good and not excellent is because of Senda Verde, the refuge you arrive at for lunch and showers. Here lunch was OK, pasta and salad as advertised, but the showers did not have the anticipated hot water, soap, or shampoo.
