It was amazing! - We made the peak Austria and the huayna potosí with them. The guides are always animated and super competent! We like it! The meals offered were simple, but very good (in Huayna Potosi I never ate so much kkkk). The camps were also quite good, we went in low season, so it was practically empty! We tell all the details on our Instagram @ViajareCurtir

Amazing experience with safety a high priority - Would highly recommend Jiwaki for the Huayna Potosí hike! They provided high quality equipment, great food and your safety and well-being was a priority throughout. Would also highly recommend our guide, Iván, who helped us to reach the summit, providing clear instructions during the hike and encouragement throughout. Overall a great experience!

The wait to start this journey was worth it - This experience, which I have waited a long time for, turned out to be something incredible. Our high mountain Ivan guide made us comfortable in expressing doubts and questions as we climbed the mountain. He was very patient and explained what to keep in mind several times. I highly recommend this trip with Jiwaki!

Pico Autria & Huayna Potosi! - We had a fantastic experience with Jiwaki. In preparation for the Huayna Potosi we did the Pico Austria. This was a good exercise and we also had fine guides accompanying us with the altitude. We also did the Huayna Potosi with Jiwaki. This was well arranged. The material is in order and dietary requirements are well taken into account. We slept in the brand new highcamp and they even brought a cake there for my birthday. On the day we went to the top Iván was our guide. A super nice guide who took good care of us. It made sure it was safe for us, that we ate and drank on time and that we stayed warm. We have not felt unsafe for a moment in challenging circumstances! All in all a top experience with Jiwaki. Iván was great, but so were the other guides! Definitely recommended!

Experience of a lifetime - Incredible experience doing our first 6000m+ mountain with Jiwaki. This is a huge physical challenge but so rewarding with stunning views of the mountain and a feeling at the summit like no other. We chose the 3 day tour as this includes the day ice climbing and getting familiar with the mountaineering equipment and would highly recommend this for beginners. We were also very impressed with Jiwaki throughout including accommodation, food, equipment and their approach to safety on the mountain (we had 2 guides between 3 people). Special shout out to our mountain guide Iván who was fantastic throughout and there is not way we would have made it without his encouragement and pacing us up the mountain.

Okay - Really cool trip. However, its organisation/running was a bit dubious. They had no record of me having booked initially and there was no communication until I turned up in person in the office. No clear timings or detail. Kit issue was a bit chaotic. Guides were hit-and-miss: some friendly and helpful, others grumpy and rude. No clarity on medical assistance or rescue if things went wrong, other than "this is Bolivia, we don't have helicopters to rescue you." It seemed safe enough and guides were quite rigid about turning people back who wouldn't make the summit in time, but I didn't see any first aid kits or oxygen or anything. No drop off at hotels on return. Positives: food was decent, first night accommodation was good, good value for money for a 6000m+ climbing trip.
