La Paz: Private City Tour with Cable Car & Moon Valley Visit - March 2026 (Couple) - We did this private tour as a couple in March 2026 and it was an excellent way to explore La Paz. We were picked up in a private car by our guide, Ronaldo, who was fantastic - very friendly, spoke good English, and had plenty of knowledge to share throughout the tour. The itinerary was well thought out. We started at Moon Valley, then took the cable car into the centre, followed by a walking tour covering key sights including Jaén Street and Murillo Square, finishing at the Witches’ Market, which was a great place to continue exploring independently. The tour perfectly covers the main highlights of La Paz and is ideal if you’re short on time or want a well-structured introduction to the city. Highly recommended.

Great experience - We were a big group of 19 people, and had a lovely day in La Paz thanks to the Wonder Tours. The local guides, Milena and Paola, were so kind and helpful. The bus was comfortable. The communication and organization were easy and clear. We enjoyed the cable ride, the main square, El Alto, Moon Valley, and the Witches market. Everything went according to plan. It is my second time doing the city tour with them for my friends and travellers, and I am looking forward to coming back to La Paz again.

Must do tour! - I made a mistake booking the tour the day we arrived from a tour from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni and took a bus from Uyuni to La Paz. I contacted Juan and he immediately responded that we could change the date. Unfortunately it turned out I had High Altitude Sickness and had to go to the hospital the next day. Juan send me a nice and respectful message. Thank you Juan.

Rolando was an excellent... - Rolando was an excellent tour guide! Valle de la Luna was truly magical, and the cable car tour was fascinating. It offered a unique perspective on the different dynamics of La Paz. The city tour was equally impressive, from the historic colonial buildings to Plaza Murillo and the Witches’ Market. Overall, a 10/10 experience!

Fantastic Tour! - Jhon was an exceptional guide, and went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience. I was on my own and quite nervous about going on the cable cars and he completely put me at ease. His knowledge (and English) were very impressive, and I left feeling like I learned a lot about Bolivian history and culture. 10/10.

La Paz in a Nutshell: An Intro to the City - The tour itself was fun, enjoyable, educational, and a great way to start our trip in La Paz. This private tour was definitely preferred over others because we went at our own pace without being rushed, had plenty of room in the transportation, saved time by avoiding the multiple pickups/drop-offs of a group tour, and were better able to share dialogue with the guide. Our guide Daniel was awesome! He was very thorough and provided us with a lot of information from both a historical perspective up until how things are today. We would highly recommend this tour!

La paz in short time - What you need to know and they won't tell you, is there are two mitru hotels in the city, they won't verify they will just think you should know even though you don't live here. After starting an hour late it all went off well, I think it is a good price, and good service.
